Went for a consultation and ended up getting my forehead done. Eek! In and out in 20 minutes!

Nothing to see yet. She says I won't see a result for a week. She wouldn't do anything else today or even any other areas.

Oh - told a friend at school in what I thought was confidence and she flippin well told another friend who wandered over! Was not happy! Grr. Don't mind you lot knowing . Or people I choose to tell.

www.groupon.co.uk and register which city you would like to receive deals from. Then you get an email each day with offers/discounts etc. There's also www.itison.com - the same idea.

I think my lady was basig her prices on a small syringe being 1 area and a larger syringe covering a 2nd area as opposed to picking an area iykwim.

Can botox help with a saggy double chin? I've just been to the hairdressers and spent 2 hours staring at it in the mirror.

LovelyDaffs · 21/04/2011 19:20

ggirl - I think my open pores may be sag too - if I stretch the skin across my chin they aren't there.

Noddy - I too am following you like a lemming, on the way to getting my botox done I popped into Zara to try on the blue stripy top you linked to the other day. Am honestly just a middle aged woman trying not to age and not a stalker.

Lovely Daffs wanders off to Avon website .... but stops to mention still no sign of the botox working btw

MayorNaze · 22/04/2011 07:41

oh noddy where are you when i rave about avon and everyone pulls Hmm faces at me?

my avon lady is my next door neighbour, i do worry that i am actually her best customer...i am currently waiting for crows feet eradicating stuff Grin

noddyholder · 22/04/2011 12:12

Mayor I have never seen it! What is the crows feet stuff? I am not too bothered about crows feet not sure why I don't have many but I don't think they looks as bad as forehead lines. What I really do't want is jowls my family are pretty lucky in that way but when I see my friends with them i panic!!!!!

TracyK · 22/04/2011 18:52

I think for saggy skin - it can only be Thermage type lasering to retighten. But it looks - owch!

MayorNaze · 23/04/2011 19:04

crow feety stuff

also this is v v g but not on uk site for some reason Hmm

MayorNaze · 23/04/2011 19:05

my forehead looks v bad today actually :(

i do porte des lunettes which covers up the birdy foots quite a bit but still aging :(

noddyholder · 24/04/2011 09:08

My botox wore off a few weeks ago and I think that is adding to me feeling crap! I couldn't get an appointment until 5 May didn't realise teh difference until the lines came back fully prob the last few days

LadyCornyOfSilk · 25/04/2011 11:49

noddy have they come back the same as they were before?

faustina · 25/04/2011 13:26

I think when they come back, each time you have it done, they come back less, if you see what I mean, because the theory is that your muscles have learnt a new way of moving (hope that makes sense). I've been doing this for a year now and even when they come back it's nowhere near as horrible as it was before I first went - ie constantly cross-looking.

LadyCornyOfSilk · 25/04/2011 15:30

that's interesting faustina

FolornHope · 25/04/2011 15:33

RIGHT YOU LOT
there are two lives threads on S and B one about menopause and one about plastic surgery

FFS this is NO GOOD

LadyCornyOfSilk · 25/04/2011 15:34

you'll be able to search for them in a few years time Wink

noddyholder · 25/04/2011 15:53

Well tehy are definitely less deep than before and I think this effect is cumulative.Even though I want it done again I do look ok ish without as it just isn't as frowny looking as before.

faustina · 25/04/2011 17:00

same for me noddy - and if you have a very deep line where you used to frown (but don't anymore - or not as much anyway), they can stick a bit of filler in that so it's even better!

ggirl · 25/04/2011 17:07

I am not on meno thread
prob should be though
in denial
