i have a huge tummy. it sticks out further than my breasts do. finding clothes to fit is a nightmare. i got this coat from boden which i was really pleased with, but it was a tiny bit tight accross tummy. ds says it is too big on me. shoulders and bust. she thinks i should have bought a 14. but the sixteen barely covers my lump of fat......
i have this problem with most clothes. what do you think about looking int he maternity section? or is that just too sad?

if the clothes fit, stuff where they came from I think you would look good in empire line clothes as I do -- one of my favourite dresses was from formes and I loved wearing it after I had DD...

ive heard of formes on another thread. what is it? can you do a link please?

god NO! youcannot wear maternity if you ar neot pregnant
you need to lose weight

stitch · 10/10/2005 20:51

meggy, lots of lycra stuff tends to cling to all the horrible wobbly bits. expecially the two folds of skin along the side of my belly where there isnt enough fat to fill out the skin. icht description, or what.

cod, cant do the weight loss thing. everytime i get going, dh does something to make me feel so miserable, that i think sod it, and start eatig stuff because one, i enjoy food. and two, it pisses him off. have started the gym thing, im hoping it will show some results in a couple of weeks.

OP posts:
projectmanagerCOd · 10/10/2005 20:52

stop eating
all you do is majke yourself unhappy
never mind your dh

stitch · 10/10/2005 20:55

no, i dont blame him. i know i am the one to blame. that is just my way of handling the stress i get off him. sometimes i do so by using his cards online, sometimes i eat. i dont have the willpower to lose the weight.

ive joined a gym, where they have a free creche. im going to give it two weeks, hopefully will be able to see some improvement by then.

so i shouldnt get maternity then.
