They're not spray on tight, just slim and straight legged with a bit of a drainpipe feel going on. I feel very eighties throw back.
They're excellent when tucked into boots but this morning I wore them with flat, ballet shoes and feel a bit self conscious. Think where I live (the sticks) I may be regarded as stylistically challenged!
They're Gap, straight+slim. I think they're these ones but they don't look bootcut to me.
gulp!

do you feel strangely dated?
(v odd when I was hoping to feel v hip and cool)

pootlepod · 29/09/2005 13:29

My thighs are definately boot-cut kind of thighs

Fimbo · 29/09/2005 13:31

Not dated exactly, although I would say my jelly thighs feel a bit better in them!!

cupcakes · 29/09/2005 13:32

The funny thing is my thighs do look better in them than in the bootcut. weird...

Yes it is weird. I think as well I don't feel dated because I wear them with boots. Although I love footwear I am not really a shoe person and can't bear it when jeans finish then there is a gap then a shoe. Boots from now until about Mar/April then flip flops/birkie type things until next year at this time. IYSWIM

black slip on shoes, leather but a bit ballet shoe styled. Sound yucky but v chic.

Gobbledigook · 29/09/2005 13:42

Eeew, no, I'm sticking to boot cut I'm afraid. Better for pear shapes.

I normally wear long and lean which is an excellent shape for me. These are a bit lower waisted ('ultra low') but the bum and thighs feel the same (although look better). Legs are same length only straight down.

and they are a lot better when tucked into boots as there is no excessive roll of fabric hanging round your knees.

cupcakes · 29/09/2005 13:52

have just bent over and been assured there is 'no crack'

Fimbo · 29/09/2005 13:53
