I've bought skinny jeans!!!!

They're not spray on tight, just slim and straight legged with a bit of a drainpipe feel going on. I feel very eighties throw back.
They're excellent when tucked into boots but this morning I wore them with flat, ballet shoes and feel a bit self conscious. Think where I live (the sticks) I may be regarded as stylistically challenged!
They're Gap, straight+slim. I think they're these ones but they don't look bootcut to me.

am big into boot tucking in but very against gypsy skirts (though did have a poncho last winter)

that article is so true. It isn't quite the end of Septmeber and I have succumbed! Very true about footware - I am looking for the perfect 'slouch boots with a stacked heel'. And I do feel like a show jumper when wearing flat boots.
It's also very hard to wear without looking like you aspire to be Sienna Miller.

yes, I tried wearing with my favourite fitted jacket (the one with ribbon tie) and felt like Fen in Riders.

OMG Sherlock - that's really put a crimp in the day. Next it'll be pencil skirts again and padded shoulders on box jackets. I can't do all that again.

no, jeans still on. Am getting my stacked boots this weekend and then will be stunningly trendy.
Have decided that they look good with jumpers, so long as I don't try to look too casual.
