Help me not love this coat

Hobbs here

I haven't go the money to buy it but now I've seen it I don't want anything else. In fact, even if I did have the money I'm not sure I'd buy it as I've just had a baby so will lose lots of weight (ahem).

I love it. Help me not love it. Or find me something else to love. Please.

Can you manage to wait until the sales... you might be smaller then too... I am not very good at this though!

latrucha · 15/10/2010 16:06

It's an idea... I'll be freezing until then though!

latrucha · 15/10/2010 16:23

See, I knew it was great. No one has a word to say against it. Sad

Ooh no, I can't get on with the colour(s) at all. It is like a dressing gown as well.

Does that help?! Grin

WhatsWrongWithYou · 15/10/2010 16:31

I actually prefer this.

sleepwhenidie · 15/10/2010 16:34

You think you have problems? I am obsessing over this

Frrrrightattendant · 15/10/2010 16:37

dolphin13 · 15/10/2010 16:39

Nope sorry can't help it's fab.

latrucha · 15/10/2010 16:39

Without even looking at the link, I bet the All Saints one is the grey sheepskin?

TootAndCommon · 15/10/2010 16:46

OMG that All Saints one!
I feel like defaulting in the mortgage!

latrucha · 15/10/2010 16:46

It is.

Marc Jacobs one hasn't done it for me.

takingchances · 15/10/2010 16:47

The All Saints one just gave me a tingle downstairs. That's how good it is. Swoon....

Livingbytheriver · 15/10/2010 16:48

Dressing gown stlyie belt on a post baby tum??? Hmmmmm no, don't do it, anyway, once you've lost your weight it will become your 'fat' coat and it will only come out when you want to show off how much you have shrunk!

That put you off?

(explanation based solely on my own experience, you may not have have put on as much as I did)

latrucha · 15/10/2010 16:48

I find it easy to resist though, as I could never wear it where I live. Too drizzly.

Pinkjenny · 15/10/2010 16:50

I knew it. It's so beautiful. Not at all overpriced

latrucha · 15/10/2010 16:52

All Saints one is a coat for getting in and out of shiny cars in in a major world capital.

Not for pushing a pram in Windy West Wales (which is, incidentally, the kind of coat I need).

OP posts:
GoldenHaze · 15/10/2010 16:54

Looks like a very boring coat to me. Sorry (although that might help!)

pippoltergeist · 15/10/2010 16:59

Really don't like the Op's coat. The weave makes my eyes water like a strobe light, while the shape is very forgetable (how am I doing?).

My dream coat is here

latrucha · 15/10/2010 17:00

Oh no. It looks like it would hang in a classic, unfussy manner and swish at the edges.

pippoltergeist · 15/10/2010 17:04

Looks like something our own dear Queen would have worn circa her coronation.

latrucha · 15/10/2010 17:07

Oh, now that's the way to go. I have similar suspicions abou tit myself.
