As the old one is nearly full!

All & any vaping chat welcome.

No question is too daft to ask. We've all been there at the start of vaping in the minefield that it is.

Only rule is: No Willy Waving!!

I haven't checked in for a fortnight but I'm still going strong. Six weeks now. I've got very daring and moved onto an aspire mini nautilus. Also graduated to liquids from the one pound site. This is my first full day on the mini nautilus - not too impressed with the battery, it needed charging by 1pm today. Is this common?
Nevergettime? Verystressed? How are you doing?
More weird things happening - sore elbow that I've had for 2 years since grazing it is suddenly healing. I've even had antibiotics in the past for it but it never got better. Now it is. Hard to see it as a coincidence. And my nails are growing. Even stranger.

kimlo · 18/11/2015 19:28

Ive tried the one pound liquid site. Im impressed, the cherry menthol is really nice. Delivery was quick too.

Thank you Polter!
The battery is an aspire Cf VV+, and I'm using it at 3.8 or 4.3.
The overall experience is much better, a much cleaner taste and i love the adjustable controls, but having to go back to my Typhoon for a couple of hours at lunchtime is blimming annoying.

I have that cherry menthol too, it's very ice.
For the poster looking for a stronger menthol, the one pound Peppermint flavour is very nice and more minty than any of the menthols.

It's probably to do with how much I vape - we're up early here so the poor thing is puffing away by 6am Blush I'll order a spare battery I think.
Overall I'm pleased with it. The puffer on the Typhoon is plastic and of course this one is stainless steel and it's a much nicer feel on the lips - nice and cold. What a strange new world this has opened for me, k think and discuss stuff I never knew existed!

Well done, Total!

I am a pretty heavy vaper & find my eLeaf lasts me just about the whole day. But I do have two & tend to charge when the battery is about two thirds gone.

I'm still here too [Total], vaping away with no desire at all to go back to those stinkys !! I'm using an aspire nautilus with an eleaf istick 30w. Honestly it's amazing and lasts me at least one full day, sometimes two. Would highly recommend.

nevergettime · 19/11/2015 16:34

See a lot of us are using 'onepoundeliquids' Here's my take on flavours so far :
Lemon sherbet - to die for; Cherry menthol - very nice; Peach - excellent (refreshing); Black tobacco - very good (more ish) Grin; British tobacco - nice standard tabac; Blackcurrant and liqourice - Nice but a little sweet; Strawberry and lime - far too sweet and sickly (can't get the lime); Cherry - again, too sweet for me without menthol; Very berry - like sweaty socks Confused; Peppermint - got it but not tried as yet.
Would love to read what others have tried and think Smile

That one pound website looks pretty cool. I've ordered a selection and included the plain stuff to add my own menthol if theirs isn't strong enough.

Need to look at replacing my hardware soon as these were just cheap ones to carry me over after my old set up got unreliable with charging (and I broke my Kanger Mega Tank because I drop everything).

These eLeaf iSticks sound interesting, what's the scoop on them? I'm a heavy vaper although I'm on a low %. I'd love something that I could put into a neck strap as my disability means my hands don't grip reliably, hence the many dead tanks.

Where did you buy yours? If I can put it into a silicon case, that's a bit better than smashy smashy hands.

I've just ordered a new eleaf istick off Amazon for DH who dropped his in the pond (again!) If it's proper genuine, I'll post the link when it arrives. You can get silicon cases for them - I've ordered one for DH because he has weird hand sweat which dissolves the finish. You can also get round-the-neck pouches for them. The 50W one would get quite heavy but the 20 or 30w ones might be ok.

FanFuckingTastic · 20/11/2015 22:46

I hope it's genuine then, it sounds like it's what I need.

ditavonteesed · 22/11/2015 18:53

fingers crossed it's genuine, how much was it?

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 23/11/2015 19:58

It's here and it's genuine Smile This is the one I got, the 50W model in blue, bought from Vitastoreonline for £39.25. They list each model and colour separately so have a browse.

Allergictoironing · 26/11/2015 10:48

Heh. Just been browsing the Preppers forum (to see what all the fuss was about) and it led me to thinking just how prepared I am with vaping kit. I realised that I get twitchy if I don't have at least 2 e-cigs with different flavours on me, at least one other spare battery, a bottle of juice, a spare tank and a spare coil.

Thinking further, I get that same feeling if at home I have less than 4 spare charged batteries, at least 3 week's supply of liquid and numerous spare tanks/coils.

I put it down to many years of working on planning including contingency planning, and risk management!

Anyone else as paranoid as me about having shed loads of spare everything?

magimedi · 26/11/2015 11:37

DH noticed my supply of liquids last night & asked me if I was sure I had enough! Sarky sod!

Because I am going away before Christmas & then again soon after I have done a massive shop & must have about 30 bottles of liquid & loads of coils!!

Can't face the thought that I might not have enough if all the suppliers have a hiccup over the holidays!!

if the governement regulations come in when will it be? wondering whether to get another set up just in case. I always keep quite a lot of liquids as I like to change flavours a lot so I order abnout 15 v10ml bottles at a time.
