As the old one is nearly full!

All & any vaping chat welcome.

No question is too daft to ask. We've all been there at the start of vaping in the minefield that it is.

Only rule is: No Willy Waving!!

Yah well done Plenty.

I've taken the leap today and bought supplies to mix my own liquid. I've kinda been forced into it as my favourite liquid is only available in concentrate now.

I've bought pre mixed base liquid at 12mg of nicotine and the two concentrates. I'll give it a go ?? hoping they will taste similar.

Allergictoironing · 13/06/2015 07:54

Woohoo - fun day for me today, my friends' new shop is opening!

Going down with my baby bro & his wife to hang out, look at all the new shinys, try loads of US imported juices & feed everyone cake Cake. Or maybe mini meringues, haven't decided yet which to bake Grin.

Hi there...can anyone please reccomend a set up for me? I had an e cig but don't get along with it...bought from the chemist. It's too slim somehow and I want something chunkier....the one I have also seems "Burny" and makes that dribbling noise too easily so I'm always cleaning it.

I can pay up to 70 pounds....I'd rather a kit with everything I need in it...but I'm moving to Oz so an international brand would be best. Flowers thanks!

Thank you Polter I will have a look now! Can I get the steel tank from the same website as the main bit? And can you recomend a site which is good?

I have got a steel tank, like Polter but also have a plain glass one which is fine.

But.... I don't have any young DCs.

And I reckon this set up is the best vape I've ever had & have been vaping for nearly 3 years.

Another vote for istick and mini nautilus. I love mine. I ordered the mini from fast tech and ended up buying the 20w from a local shop cod I got fed up waiting Confused.

I got my metal cover for the mini nautilus from fast tech as well as spare glass tanks and coils, just depends if you can wait two weeks for delivery

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 14/06/2015 10:05

MrsNextDoor You might know this already, but in case you don't - the laws around vaping are very strict in Australia. It's wise to check what's legal in the area you are moving to and how Australian vapers cope with the various restrictions (rules on importing etc.) I found this which seems up to date wrt laws in various states. You could also search for an Australian vaping forum for some tips (the main one, aussievapers, appears to be down at the moment).

McNo · 15/06/2015 18:51

Has anyone tried the coolfire 4? Have just ordered the purple one.

Have found an Atlantis V2 clone on fastech with purple glass for £7 might have to get that to match Confused

Has anyone's tried the clone tanks from fastech?

Will let you know how I get on with it. Bit wary about buying the clone tank to be honest.

Decided to just stick to the mini nauty and subtank nano. Might treat myself to a new tank next month.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 16/06/2015 21:18

Yes my Kayfun is a clone Grin

I will happily buy cloney stuff from FT as long as lots of other people have already bought it and the reviews are positive - or if it's really cheap and I wouldn't be devastated to just bin it if it's crap. It's worth trawling through the discussion threads if you're not sure (if you can bear all the misogynist, homophobic willy-waving) sometimes people do really helpful side-by-side comparisons with the genuine item.

McNo · 16/06/2015 21:24

Thanks Plenty. I ended up ordering today for £7 plus £5 for coils I thought it was worth the risk, plus the purple glass will match my new mod Smile

Only one review and it said tank was good but the coil that came with it wasn't up to much so I ordered pack of genuine coils

Allergictoironing · 26/06/2015 19:36

Yay shiny birthday pressy arrived on exactly the right day! Thank you, Plenty, for my new coils Grin.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 26/06/2015 19:43

Hurrah! Have fun and don't dry burn the wicks! Grin

magimedi · 02/07/2015 20:28

Just waving to you all.

I ain't half getting through the liquids - the stress of watching Wimbeldon................................

It's so nice not to have to wait for the end of a set for a hit of nicotine! Grin

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 04/07/2015 20:18

Big waves to all!

magi, glad you are enjoying the tennis. Is it still going on? I don't follow it as I have never really 'got' sport. It's odd but I would have imagined that would be one situation where it might be quite nice to have to wait. It would increase the tension and then you could go outside and dissect the play over a fag vape. I know completely nothing though - how long does a set last? That would be a big factor Grin

I went to a vape meet last weekend. It was quite good but I had my embarrassing friend with me so we didn't get to talk to that many people. It was a bit willy-waving though. Most people were using very high end kit on very high power (except for embarrassing friend who was brandishing one of these and declaring it the Best Thing Ever to anybody who would listen.)

What made it really worthwhile was the opportunity to try loads of flavours - not so much for me, I'm still happy with my plebby ry4/ry6 mix - but DH found quite a few new things he likes. Also freebies of loads of juice. We took a big handful of juice to pass on but came back with about 3x what we had taken Blush

So if anybody is bored of their flavours and can get to a meet, I would recommend it Smile I learnt about the one I went to on UK Vapers

magimedi · 04/07/2015 22:13

A set can take over an hour - and the tension, the tension.

And there is only 2 mins max between sets!

"Best thing ever" looks a bit sad!

Was there gin?? Grin

Hello all! Back posting on MN again so thought I would come and say hello. :)

I've now been vaping for 1 year and 17 weeks. :o

You're all making me feel like a noob with the kayfuns though!

Currently vaping The Shocker by Cosmic Fog in a Subtank Mini on my lovely pink eleaf Istick. :o

Allergictoironing · 05/07/2015 08:46

WB Schro. Heading for 17 months stinky free myself.

I alternate between iSticks, EVOD twists (cheap from FastTech) and Spinner 2s (clones from FastTech), and the majority of my juices are still in GS-H2s - though I do use the mini nautilus for whatever my current "posh" vape is. So plenty of us still using and happy with comparatively basic kit Smile.

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 05/07/2015 12:50

Thank you. :)

Since using the sub tank I don't think I could go back! The flavour is just so much better, however I am not getting on with the RBA deck, no matter how I build the coil or wick it, it always bloody tastes burnt. Gah!

I switch between the istick and the MVP 2 (have 2 of those now). :)

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 05/07/2015 20:37

Yay Schro, good to see you! A subtank is well posher than a Kayfun (which was a bit posh in about 2013) Congratulations on over a year, that's brilliant Flowers

magi, 2 minutes break between sets is far too short! If I was a tennis player I'd be onto the union for decent fag vape breaks Grin

"Best thing ever" looks a bit sad!

Nooo, 'best thing ever' is the most stylish battery ever made, is far more 'dynamic' than an istick (Confused) and best of all, it fires at 3.7V (Confused again). I'm seeing her again on Tuesday, I think we're going to the wanky vape bar in Shoreditch. I'm not sure they'll know what's hit them Grin
