Washing all the step children’s bedding ready for this weekend so they all have nice fresh bedding. There will be no appreciation for this or even being spoken to but onwards we go .

I do my SCs beds.

It's my house and I like it clean but mostly I like the thought that they have fresh beds.

For me, growing up, one thing I loved is how my mum always made sure our beds were fresh and the smell made me feel so comforted and cared for. The thought that I might give them that comfort makes me happy.

I also know their Mum isn't as on the ball/does't do cleans beds (don't ask me how I know but imagine bedding so dirty it was once white and it's like odd white)... and my SS often says how cosy his bed at ours is... I know that without saying thanks (they don't need to) they notice.

It's not about one upping her but given the snide remarks she makes about me.. I'll take it where i can.

This set up sounds like my idea of hell.

You don’t seem happy, your kids are probably not happy and your step kids don’t seem happy

Nothing is worth this (well unless he brings in around 10k a month after tax)

Otherwise it would be a no from me!

Oh and I doubt they’d notice the sheets so don’t bother exerting yourself too much
