Cor, that's ballsy with a Huddersfield-supporting parent! 😄 When my Spurs-fan child was about 6, they confessed to me that they didn't want to follow in my footsteps by supporting Liverpool. I reassured them that that was fine and they were allowed to choose whichever football club they liked...but if they chose Man Utd, they'd have to go and live with their nan! 😁

In the end, they decided they should either go with the club closest to where we lived when they were born (Arsenal) or closest to where we lived at the time of choosing (and where we still live), which was Spurs. (It just so happened that, in both cases, our closest club of any kind was a Premier League one.)

I know! The traitor. 😂He has spent some time in hospital in Leeds and he met some of the players which won him over so I might just let him off. Maybe. 😂

Just seen the best stat of the World Cup. That 5 of the top 8 ranked teams going into the World Cup have made it to the last 8, and the 3 who didnt are managed by Ex Everton managers. Fucking cursed we are

Hope you switch your notifications off so you can enjoy your holiday. It’s still far too stressful supporting the Toon. Tonali leaving will be a worse move for him than us, but I will cry proper ugly tears if we lose Bruno. I think it’s all agent shizzle at the moment and he’s clearly devastated over going out of the World Cup, but if he goes I worry for Eddie. We need them both and a lot more signings in this window.

Thank you ⚽️🥰 Yes, I've read through the list of fans and teams 🙂 Hopefully I can get added on at some point, although I did miss roll call when if first came out 🤦‍♀️ I spend far too much time rolling my eyes in AIBU; this will be a VERY welcome distraction 😍

News from League 2: we're made at least four signings and fielded a number of triallists in our pre-season games. It generally takes me until about Christmas to get to know the squad 🤣

As for matches, I'm a season ticket holder and travel to most away games with the Spireites Over 55s Travel Club, which is me and a couple of mates. Sadly the group's name will update next year when two of us turn 60 (and the other turns 70) 😮

Looking forward to the season. We're looking for promotion to League 1. #COYB #WATAW ⚽️💙

I saw the 18% or so figure about 15 years ago, when there was an issue with family members renewing their parents (usually dad)'s season ticket, using it and continuing even after said parent had died.

I missed this. Went with a friend for several matches about 10 years ago. Sadly I'll health stopped it on his part.

Manchester United need to allow locals a substantial discount because parking without paying near them is a serious issue.
