Hope two goals today were not too much of a shock.

Of course we're losing to Bromley. 🙄😅

Yes, we were well and truly outplayed.

Not a good day for North London.

A win, goal disallowed for no reason, a nervy final 10 minutes and still unbeaten.

1-0 loss for Arbroath but Stenny have won 6 out of the 7 matches they’ve played so far this season so I think only losing by one goal isn’t too bad there.

and just like I suspected, we lose our first game of the season to Bromley. Our former player Mikel Miller scored the winner too, naturally.

Yuck.

Gladbach absolutely dire, and lost 3-4 to Mainz. We left when the 4th goal went in at the 85th minute, and were just unlocking our bikes when we pulled one back to 3-4 in added on time. (in Geman, when a team pull back to only one goal behind it is called an Anschlusstreffer - literally a joining-on goal. Is there a word for that in English?)

Boro scored a late equaliser away to Birmingham and Wednesday managed 0-0 at home to Stockport so sadly no longer top of the league.

i really don't like football today at all.

ETA: can't remember if i mentioned we fired out trainer on Monday. So are rudderless and useless.

Hi @NoisyBrain - another glutton for punishment Spurs fan here. At least we have finally scored a goal... I'm not even counting the first one that has been credited to Gallagher but looked like a Villa own goal to me, but the Van Hecke goal was - finally - an ACTUAL goal. Please, oh please, let this be the turning point. I cannot cope with another season like the last two.

Taking some consolation in both Arsenal and Chelsea losing 3-0 this weekend. Well done Bees and Brighton!

Well Orient got our first home win since March. We weren’t very good but neither were Stevenage and they were very physical as usual. Akhamrich was very pacy but got kicked all over the pitch. Please Spurs don’t take him back until the end of the season! Gilbert looks good and also looks like Butt-Head from Beavis and Butt-Head.

We had our Arses well and truly handed to us by Brighton. Hopefully we'll take that on board and not start getting complacent.

Thought Spurs had a decent first half, unfortunate with Villa's first coming when VDV was off the pitch for treatment. Didn't see second half as made my routine trip to watch Gillingham. Best home game of the season so far, beat Bristol Rovers 3-0. A shaky first 10 then dominated throughout. Brophy on the scoresheet again plus super sub Kendall who came on at 82 minutes to net 2. Up from 7th to 4th in the table now.

Which clubs are pretty much trying to price most fans out of doing 🤷🏻‍♀️

The theory is that people wouldn't go to the lower leagues if the 3pm matches were televised.

The problem is that around 5 million people watch the 3pm matches illegally so I am not sure that the blackout does anything.

At 3-0 down it was looking like the normal situation had resumed after scoring a goal midweek.

think I might have preferred it to be another 0-0 draw.

Really pleased with Newcastle holding on for the win today. Mind the game should have been out of sight if Wissa had buried that bloody pen. I think I could have hit it with more power! I think with penalties one must absolutely twat it. If you sky it then so be it but give the keeper something to do!

I agree, and the second half was really tense! My DS was there and he said that for him Willock was brilliant. Which is something I’ve not heard for a long time. Any longer in extra time and Hull could easily have got an equaliser.
We really need this break to try and get some of our experienced players back from injury. Joelinton is a huge miss with so many new young players and then 5 academy players on the bench.

is that the regular nickname for Bradford? I thought the Bantams...
