I'm taking crumbs of comfort from the fact that Manchester United is the only team in the Premier League to have lost the first match of the season three times and have gone on to be champions three times 😀

I think that was our worst performance under Carrick thus far @placemats .

Well that was frustrating, played excellent in the first half but had a Lampard like goal disallowed which was clearly a goal because league one doesn’t have goal line technology and then MK dons got back into it in the second half and managed to draw with us.

Happy with the result today. We looked OK against Sheffield W last week but ran out of steam so it was good to get the points today. Although I think our new goalkeeper might be injured. We got through four or five last season. We seem to be a goalkeeper graveyard.

Time for my own watch behind a cushion, I’ve let DS and DH take the tickets today. I just didn’t have the stomach for it, I’m not sure I could cope watching Isak bang in a hattrick and doing his celebration in front of the gallowgate. That combined with all the Kevin Keegan stuff I’d prefer to be an emotional wreck on my own at home.
