Many friends have messaged me. There’s a cracking shot of me and DH after the match clapping the team. I look absolutely fucking devastated (I was just in pain LOL) and DH has a sneaky cig in his mouth FFS. 🙈🙈🙈

I do absolutely disagree, there were so many more players deserving but that’s not the first nor last time that will happen.

TBH I think we would be absolutely demolished every week in the Premiership. While going up would be insanely amazing I think it would be one of those things that would kill your spirit through the season.

Didn’t even get a smokie pie. DH asked for a steak and black pudding one for me and they just gave him a steak. And they’d run out of Bovril AND milk for the coffee too. Not sure what was the most annoying thing today.

We did have fun shouting at the ref. It was David Dickinson (not the Bargain Hunt guy) but we did tell him to go back to Bargain Hunt and I’ve said to DH he looks like a mix of David Hasselhoff and “handsome Squidward” from SpongeBob. So there were some rather inventive things from DH after that. 🙈🤣

Hardly impartial though so not that surprising in all honesty.

Turns out I was on TV a lot. Walked into the pub I play darts for and they never show sports but they obviously had it on as we had so many comments. 🙈🙈🙈 DH has had random people throughout the night recognise him too. It’s almost as bad as when I was on The Chase. 🤣🤣🤣

Jesus. Got home and watched the coverage. We are the only Arbroath fans they zoom into right after full time. At least my brows and my nails were done I guess FFS. No wonder everyone in the pub recognised us. It’s literally just me and DH on the screen for around 5 seconds and it feels like forever.

Their no. 19 clearly held Raya's arm down so he couldn't catch the ball. If that isn't a foul, nothing is.

Not sure we deserved to win the match though. Arteta messed up with his first sub.
