This is going to be an interesting year with the regulation change.

Rumours are Mercedes and RB engines are exploiting a loophole and so may have the most powerful engines.

AM will have a car with significant input from Adrian Newey.

Sauber becomes Audi and we have an 11th team, Cadillac.

Christian Horner seems very keen to get back into F1, preferably Alpine with Flávio - they deserve each other.

There is closed door testing in Barcelona then open testing from 11 February at Sakhir.

Iran have bombed the airport in Bahrain

I’m looking at going to the British GP on the Saturday for Sprint race and qualifying. I’ve been before but only General Admission. What’s a good grandstand for this?

We were in Stowe , really good view of Hangar straight, pit entry at Vale and Club corner

Is that where Landostand is?

my daughter prefers it the other side as she’s hoping for some overtakes in the corners. We will be in Ignition Club.

It is now, it was Lando's rookie season when we went he didn't have a stand!
We sat in loads of places for practice and qualify, there isn't really a bad place to be. We got some epic battles going down into Vale and Club. Including Max and Seb ending up in the gravel much to DS disgusting, they were his favourite drivers.

I can't believe Bahrain and Saudi will happen. Are they going to double up in Japan to make up one of the races?

The logistics of a last minute change must be almost impossible.

It's still a month until Bahrain. If its safe to go they will, too much money, sponsorship, etc at stake to cancel. Sadly F1 is a business at the end of the day.
Trumps War will likely be over by then.

It isn’t just if it is safe on the day the logistics of getting everything there takes weeks beforehand. I can’t see the situation being stable enough in time.

I don’t think the current situation will be over very quickly - I think that Trump has completely misjudged things.

Sky reported a week or so ago that the Bahrain and Saudi races will not be replaced if they do have to cancel them.

Looks like Bahrain and Saudi’s races are off but no replacement 😢. Maybe they will do a mini rule change and use the 5 weeks to get everything settled.
