Well I would say see you all next year, but some things like seats haven't been confirmed yet.

What does everyone want for next year? I would like a close competition at the front again.

And for Williams to do well, Albon and Sainz with Vowels in charge gives me hope for improvement!

All the deets on 2025. Officially, only the 2nd RB seat is free, but surely Checo must go. If Yuki or Liam gets his seat, then that's still the case.

Very telling that Lewis has spent time in the garage with the team rather than ploughing on with interviews.

I would like Lewis to get No 8, or at least settle in and do well with Ferrari. I would be happy if we get a new world champion be it Lewis, Lando, Charles etc.

Iam interested to see how the rookies get on, and hope Carlos, Alex and James get Williams further up the grid.

I missed the race live so have just finished watching it now - and I'm delighted that McLaren got the Constructor's Championship (after a 26 year wait) and that Ferrari were second. Well done Zak Brown!!!! Well done Team Papaya!!!!!

I didn't like MBS being in the driver's cool down room - I don't like him at all - but he was trying so hard to be 'one of the boys' at that point. Pleased that when all of the cars were out on the track and after Lewis had done his donuts and got out of his Silver Arrows that he totally blanked MBS.

I would love for someone to go up against MBS when the election is scheduled for sometime next year.

Pity that Kevin wasn't able to plough his way through the cars to give Nico his first podium.

99 days till the 2025 season kicks off.

Anyone going to countdown the days???

DH is very happy he has a beating papaya heart as he had 20 years with them (other role now). Lando was his work experience boy and he was in a senior position when Zac started. Andreas was also on his team so he kind of feels he brought them all up in the McLaren ways.
He phoned me covered in champagne last night as he was invited to the party as someone who put in ground work to get them to where they are. He said all the Ferrari boys were there too and it was so nice to see them all partying together. His words were Zac and Fred are exceptional team leaders.

@Needanadultgapyear thank you for the inside info. I admired Zac and how he went out and hustled for sponsors. He is a racer.

I think Fred will work well with Lewis as he managed him in GP2.

I know Sky are going to have some coverage, not sure if it's TV or just online. But I think today is just a filming day and tomorrow is proper testing.

Would like to see the testing too. But I'm cancelling Now TV until March to save some money, so I hope they put it up on YouTube at some point.

Luke Browning has been signed to a full drive in F2, so I think Vowels has his eye on him for a potential F1 drive at some point. It's always nice to see the drivers who don't come from big money doing well.

Wonder when we will hear about what's happening with the Red Bull seat.

I've just come on this thread (I didn't know there was an F1 thread on MN) as I sensed a bit of atmosphere in F1 yesterday. Everyone seems to be getting on very well apart from MV. It's that type of getting on well amongst teams you get when everyone has a shared eye-rolling dislike of someone/a team. There really is an atmosphere of Red Bull and MV being about as popular as a fart in a jacuzzi at the moment.

I had a similar experience when I worked under a terrible manager under a terrible company. All of the staff never fought and were really cohesive because we all had a mutual hatred of the manager.

Lots of coverage on X of Carlos in the Williams. He topped the times and was consistent in lap times which is what you need. He also looks good in the all white racing suit and helmet.
