I can't really believe that Arsenal are ranked as 3rd favourites to win the Champions League. I don't think we've got enough European experience with this group, as was shown last season.

My BIL and nephew were at the Ajax match last night, watching the 34 penalties

oh i am so sad. Christoph Kramer, all round good egg and lovely chap has left Gladbach, earlier than anticipated. He hasn't hat many games recently because he is at the end of his career but this is still a shock. And the video he made saying goodbye to the fans has had many of us (Gladbach twitter is full of it) crying along with him.

He was the chap who when the Germans won the World cup in Brasil, got a concussion in the final and had to be subbed out when it was clear he was in huge difficulties and didn't know where he was at the time.

It's so weird that DH and I were discussing penalties with the kids recently and I said technically it could go on forever but I think the most I had seen was around 13 or so. It must have been amazing for them to see.

They got a bit bored with it and just wanted it to end, it was a long night and not the best of matches , but they are through to the next round

I’m all ready to go to the match. Shirt on giddy AF - even though our transfer window has been absolute arse so far I still have that pitiful optimism that goes with being a Newcastle fan.

As soon as I put liverpool in my fantasy team they fall apart.
Mama needs a clean sheet and for Salah to score please.

And I had such a hard time compiling a team because my cold and bitter heart can not find a way to cheer anyone else on 😂

Happened in our match

Stressful 90 minutes at SJP this afternoon. The ref was absolutely shite. Schar should never have been sent off. They were both touching foreheads like knobhead alpha males until Díaz decided to go for the Oscar and throw himself on the floor. Embarrassing.

As a team though Southampton even before that we’re very organised and I think they’ll do decent this season.

Well that's 2/3 losses for me today. 🙈

I've also popped into a pub with my friend and looks like the Arbroath board are out celebrating the sacking today too. This is normally a quiet pub but it's packed and I've had to get a Prosecco as there's no white wine left. 🙈🤣
