Amazing 4-0 result for Arbroath yesterday. I can't remember when we last had a result like that. Hopefully we can continue it for our derby at home against Montrose on the 28th. Spending Christmas at the top of the table is really not something we expected at the start of the season.

Ok I'll take the 3-6 loss.

The Spurs defence was far from ideal - I wish Vicario wasn’t injured and could come back sooner than planned 😭 I guess goal scoring, rather than defence, is Ange’s speciality though. It does sound like it was an entertaining match, but doesn’t bode that well as a dress rehearsal for the Carabao Cup semi-final!

Missed the match as was at my Christmas do. Saw they were 5-1 down at one stage so I'll also take 6-3 not having seen any of it 😂
Better result for the Gills, a 2-2 draw against Cheltenham Friday night under the lights. Bradley Dack even got a 15 minute stint at the end.

What incident are they referring to?

I think it was something in the Sp*rs Liverpool game, right at the end where the ref decided not to give a second yellow "because it would have affected the game too much" or words to that effect.

Lucas Bergvall of Spurs was already on a yellow; in time added on at the end of the match, he kicked the ball away but wasn't given a second yellow (and, therefore, his marching orders) for doing so.

I am driving up to Nottingham this morning for Notts v Spurs. Ds1 is at uni there.

It's kind of sad because DH managed to get 4 tickets so this is a real family event for us and we were planning it for months but he then had an operation has been so ill he can't come.

DS2 is also ill. I was ill yesterday.

we had it all planned that we were gonna stay overnight, DS1 and DS2 were going to stay in his uni house because he's at uni there and DH and I were going to stay in a hotel. and we were gonna go out for a meal, with other friends going up to watch the match, but it's all gone to pot now.

I'm taking, driving up DS1 and DS2. The tickets are quite expensive and like gold dust getting them, are like hens teeth so DH is keen for us to go. But I'm leaving him in quite an unwell state so this hasn't quite got the ring to it because we'd all been looking forward to it as a family for months, it was out main Christmas test day, and it hasn't quite turned out the way we hoped.

plus Spurs are playing so awful at the moment it's possible we get absolutely thrashed by Notts, so we're going a long way in unfortunate circumstances to watch what?

big "Derby" at Brefugee Towers today with the Boro v Sheffield Wednesday match. Last time we met on Boxing day my boys won. We will see.
