Didn't the US women win the world championship a few times? Some American women must know a bit about football (even if they call it soccer).

BTW, I didn't hear the commentary you are talking about. I watch TV with the sound off.

The commentary was explaining the VAR decisions. That part was already a bit strange imo but having a American doing it at the Euros was just odd.

I don't think it needs be done during the match, leave it till afterwards.

US Women have indeed won the World Cup multiple times and Christina Unkel is very knowledgeable and experienced

I’m watching . I am looking forward to the BBC having the coverage as I find a few of the ITV people highly annoying including Roy Keane and Ally Mccoist . I thought the American woman explaining things was totally unnecessary and I did feel that the commentators have been told to refer to her as opposed to actually wanting her opinion . On another note I really can’t see Scotland beating either Hungary or Switzerland on the performances so far , do Scotland have a better goal keeper hidden away somewhere?
