Pickford made one decent save in that match.
He spent far too much time booting the ball forward rather than trying to play it out from the back, keeping possession and running down the clock.
I thought Trippier did OK considering he was playing out of position.
Foden had a poor game and seemed lost.
Kane was effectively man marked out the game.
Bowen I thought did well when he came on and worked in defence as well. Bellingham was good.
Saka was good in the first half but vanished without trace in the second.
Alexander Arnold didn't come up with much IMO.
I thought Rice had a good match.
Serbia are 66th in the FIFA rankings vs our number 4. So if we can't comfortably beat these guys we are stuffed. We played like a pub side in the second half. Just booting the ball forwards rather than passing it around and keeping possession. Serbia looked like they were keeping hold of the ball better than us.
