Some interesting results this weekend. Enjoyed watching the Cas game on tv this afternoon.

Wigan came up with one of their periodic stinkers this weekend at Hull. it happens; to Saints too. Still two points clear with a game in hand, though! 😃
In other news, I went to the last of the summer concerts at Robins Park yesterday with Richard Ashcroft. Well done to the club for putting this on, very well-organised, and a great day out. And hopefully a harbinger of more to come in the future.

Sad news about Bill Arthur. He was always so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the game. I had noticed he hadn't been on recently and wondered why.

Did you go, Formby? Another inept performance from Wigan; how many tries did we literally gift to Wire? Interesting now, with the parallel form from Saints, who have now lost Welsby for a fair while, I suspect, and were comfortably beaten by Leigh last night.

We have caring duties, so difficult to go to away games. Have to be content with watching on TV. I am really pleased with the way we’re playing at the moment, a pleasant change to the last few years, when being a Wire fan was so frustrating . Should be able to go to our next match v Hull KR. The race for the LLS is anyone’s guess at the moment.

Getting close to the season end now and the top 6 positions still uncertain (who will finish where and who will make the 6).
Exciting end to the season.
After the last couple of years, I’m thrilled to be in 3rd currently.

Unfortunately missed the big game v Hull KR last weekend owing to family commitments, but I'll certainly be at the Brick on Friday for Leeds.

Convincing win, and really pleased. Combinations are coming together at the right end of the season. That said, Leeds were poorer than I expected. Bevan French is a superstar.
