Why are we playing in pale blue rather than the white we have been playing in?

They've not had time to put a white wash on this week Wink

(One for the misogynists)

I really wanted to watch this in a pub somewhere with a bit of atmosphere rather than home alone ... but the timings of this world cup have been a bit early haven't they .... plus none of my friends are the slightest bit interested! DH is but has to work.

The game is at 8pm in Australia so I assume as late as reasonable. Any later and it's too late for the players

Thunderpunt · 16/08/2023 11:58

I love that they turn the floodlights off at half time and play Sky Full of Stars so the crowd puts on their phones, what a great idea

StartupRepair · 16/08/2023 11:59

Strong start from England. It's gone a bit quiet and anxious in our living room.

RocketIceLollie · 16/08/2023 12:16

10 fouls to 1 in favour of Australia...that's home advantage for you.

Show quote history

Looks nice with their hair, for the sponsors?

(Probably not that far actually, re the sponsors)

Thunderpunt · 16/08/2023 12:30

Omg this is so stressful

Thunderpunt · 16/08/2023 12:30

Plus our sound is ahead of the pictures so we hear about it before it happens.... so annoying

Inmyownlittlecorner · 16/08/2023 12:31

I'm at Boxpark & the atmosphere is fab!!

duc748 · 16/08/2023 12:38

Forgot about it and just switched on for the second half. Some strike from Kerr. Great poaching from Hemp, though.

Those pink and blue puffer jackets/trackies, though. Style fail. 😛
