Spain have just outplayed us unfortunately!

Spain have definitely put in a better performance from the start. Earp's and Bronze have played well.

I agree sadly!

Isn't it Jill Scott commentating? He just said 'lucy'?!

Lucy Ward is on itv.

GlassHalfEmpty1 · 20/08/2023 13:00

Bronze has been poor.

Oh well

Simonjt · 20/08/2023 13:03

Awful play throughout, no attack, no defense, it would have been criminal if England had won

Bluejaybean · 20/08/2023 13:04

Second place in a world cup is still an achievement. Well done lionesses!

TanteRose · 20/08/2023 13:05

Well deserved victory for Spain 🇪🇸

duc748 · 20/08/2023 13:05

Spain fully deserved it, no doubt. They kept the ball much better, and were much more cohesive.

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 20/08/2023 13:05

They were outplayed on the day but have still done the country proud.

Agree. Can't believe this was how it was played after previous games.

Spain kept their best performance for this match

I agree Spain were the better tteam. We can’t even blame the dodgy ref this time. Shame - but proud of our lionesses

Gothambutnotahamster · 20/08/2023 13:09

Very true @DuncinToffee

CrossPurposes · 20/08/2023 13:10

Rachel Daly has been out of position and superb all tournament so taking her off at half time felt like a mistake at the time and even more so when they needed a centre forward.

IncognitoMam · 20/08/2023 13:10

Yes definitely best team won. Big shame though.

Nowtherave · 20/08/2023 13:10

I think Mary Earps is an absolute star!
