Chloe Kelley is the real deal - no fear!

FrenchandSaunders · 07/08/2023 11:22

phew .... and breathe 😁

WeetabixTowels · 07/08/2023 11:22

YEEEEEEEEEES!!!!

The REALLY redeemed themselves with those goals

Bless Kelly and Greenwood for comforting the Nigerian goalie.

I really value sportspeople who are gracious

littlbrowndog · 07/08/2023 11:22

Have England won ?

WeetabixTowels · 07/08/2023 11:23

littlbrowndog · 07/08/2023 11:22

Have England won ?

Yes 4-2 on penalties

Gotmygladragson · 07/08/2023 11:23

Kelly saves the day again!

littlbrowndog · 07/08/2023 11:23

Wow. 👏👏

tobee · 07/08/2023 11:24

I know Nigeria were good; dominated and were good defensively, but they were unable to convert their chances and dominance. Which is what it's about. Still crap way for them to go out.

We just weren't very good. But better on penalties.

DownNative · 07/08/2023 11:24

Congratulations to England!

Mind you, Nigeria could have won the match in normal time. Unlucky to hit the bar!

And Lauren James must be massively relieved her teammates are now through to the Quarter Finals.

thevegetablesoup · 07/08/2023 11:24

I feel emotional. That was tough to watch.

LadyShimura · 07/08/2023 11:25

Christ on a bike, I'm glad I didn't watch this one. It's my daughter's birthday and she dont want a mum with the hump. 😬

Gotmygladragson · 07/08/2023 11:23

Kelly saves the day again!

She’s a legend and immensely talented. I’m surprised she doesn’t start more often

WeetabixTowels · 07/08/2023 11:25

James to miss at least one game.

tobee · 07/08/2023 11:25

Looking forward to Spain v Netherlands

UsingChangeofName · 07/08/2023 11:26

Wow. That was tough to watch.

Got to feel for Nigeria. They can feel so proud of their performance and SO unlucky to be going out.

However - maybe the luck is with us this year ?

DuncinToffee · 07/08/2023 11:26

WeetabixTowels · 07/08/2023 11:25

James to miss at least one game.

Could be upgraded to 3

I thought LJ would miss the rest of the tournament?

tobee · 07/08/2023 11:27

Who's going to win the tournament then? Japan?

FrenchandSaunders · 07/08/2023 11:27

Japan most likely I'd say ..... but who knows!

UsingChangeofName · 07/08/2023 11:28

I thought LJ would miss the rest of the tournament?

Gabby just said "at least a 1 match ban, will need to wait until it is reviewed to see if she will play again"

LadyShimura · 07/08/2023 11:28

I'd put money on Japan.

They have been the most consistent team.
