Oh dear Lauren James

Shocking from James. Absolutely out of order

burblish · 07/08/2023 10:17

What on earth was Lauren James thinking?! As soon as I saw it, I thought she was bloody lucky to only get a yellow. Such a stupid thing to do!

FrenchandSaunders · 07/08/2023 10:17

oh blimey! why!

FrenchandSaunders · 07/08/2023 10:17

She was having such a brilliant world cup debut and then behaves like that

AutumnCrow · 07/08/2023 10:19

I can't quite believe I just watched that. Surrounded by officials and VAR ... so much at stake ... and she does that.

littlbrowndog · 07/08/2023 10:20

Missed it what did she do

tobee · 07/08/2023 10:21

Deliberate foot on the back of opponent when they were getting up from a tackle

littlbrowndog · 07/08/2023 10:20

Missed it what did she do

Stepped in a Nigerian player’s back

I don’t think I can watch this. Come on ENGLAND!

littlbrowndog · 07/08/2023 10:31

Thanks

coastergirl · 07/08/2023 10:32

I am not coping with this.

Lucky England there, not even a VAR review

Parky04 · 07/08/2023 10:38

Very disappointing performance so far. Nigeria clearly the better side. James has let everyone down.

WeetabixTowels · 07/08/2023 10:39

I obviously want England to go through but if Nigeria did they’d deserve it

UsingChangeofName · 07/08/2023 10:40

This is so disappointing.
What was Lauren James thinking ? Shock

Wasn't even heat of the moment, or any excuse like a goal saving situation. Just pure stupidity.

I hope the Lionesses can do it, but another 40 mins of play with only 10 players when we are lucky to still be in the game anyway

Sorry but it is nonsense to say that Lauren James has let everyone down

Sorry but it is nonsense to say that Lauren James has let everyone down

But she has - they’re a woman down now because of her recklessness

tobee · 07/08/2023 10:44

She's let herself down imo

Lucky England there, not even a VAR review

Never a penalty that is why :-)

Sorry but it is nonsense to say that Lauren James has let everyone down

I think she will be the first to admit this!

Gotmygladragson · 07/08/2023 10:45

This is so hard to watch. My teeth are gritted .
