Canada v Nigeria was interesting. The ref could have brought more cards out but it seems they are saving the yellows for fouls which disrupt an attack. I'm not too keen on that approach, I have to admit. I know I'm in the minority!
I thought Switzerland did well. Of course they should beat the Philippines, but still. Sow, Bachmann and Maritz especially good.

This tournament so far is about organised and hardworking teams holding their own. No plan or no organisation = trouble.

watching my first match of the tournament (am not going to manage the England match, but love how the German TV comentators and whatever always call them European Champions England)

Japan are streets ahead of Zambia in terms of talent, but it is all good practice and exposure for the not so good teams to play in tournaments.
