That's fine, let them invalidate the race and the winner will be based on race wins.... won't change the result in that case

They should let them have a straightener in the pit lane to sort it out.

End of the day, the better driver and team won.

Hamilton has had some bloody good moments, including starting LAST in Brazil and still won the race! He's a very very talented driver, but what ruins it for me is his constant whinging on the radio, as does max and CH! But as I've said, the better driver and team won today.

They only had one lap left to race and MM is not as experienced as CW was.

Max is always being shortchanged and Lewis is massively favoured to the point that it looks like it’s fixed. Max gets no luck on track and I’ve watched them penalise Max for years. Just like vettell in Canada when they said he should give Lewis room when there was no room to give him.

Toto Wolff is an embarrassment. He's spoken out as being against W Series because it takes away from letting women compete in F1, but we all know he'd never consider a female driver.

Christian Horner is more of an embarrassment, thanking the 'wives and girlfriends' of his team.

Because female crew members and opposite sex partners aren't a thing in RB world, obviously. 🙄

Plus there the spectre of Geri shoving herself into shot at very opportunity!

Can't wait for Drive to Suvive on Netflix, it will be a corker this year. Glad Max won, don't particularly like him but Lewis has won 7 times already.

I understand that the drivers want to get the best start when the safety car ends, but I found Verstappen continually edging in front of Hamilton under safety car very distasteful.

Tyre change was astonishing. I literally looked down to pick up a crisp and the car was back out - I had to rewind !

He’s got trouble next year when Russell’s his team mate, he actually has something in between his legs unlike Bottas. It’s another Rosberg situation waiting to happen.

I wouldn’t be too excited. If it’s like previous seasons, they’ll overlook interesting parts so that they can focus on fabricating some kind of rivalry between Antonio Giovinazzi and Carlos Sainz! But seriously, I’m not sure that they’ll want to focus too closely on the season ending drama. DTS is ultimately an F1 marketing tool and this makes the sport look pretty stupid.

We don’t watch DTS. Made up bollocks like TOWIE.

Grossly unfair result, changing the rules at the last minute so that Hamilton couldn’t respond. They should have made the decision earlier then Hamilton would have changed tyres and a fair result.

It’s F1s race and they run it as they want rules or not!.

Best result, was overwhelmed with emotion when watching it earlier. What an incredible last lap. What an incredible season.

Max deserved it so much. Well done Max.

And I cannot wait! He was incredible in the Mercedes car when he stepped in. I think Lewis’ reign has came to an end. F1 is finally back to being exciting to watch.

Extreme E have one female and one male driver. I wish F1 would allow more female drivers, W Series has shown us that there are some phenomenal drivers like Chadwick. They totally deserve a F1 seat.

Appeal decision expected in the next 30 minutes according to sky sports. Not going to lie - a bit nervous for it.

Lewis seemed to have accepted it, it's toto who hasn't shown his face....
