Glad they went through but-

Kane was atrocious tonight.
Grealish being subbed was madness.
Schmeichel was fantastic.
The penalty given was… a reach. And Kane’s taking of it was shit, followed swiftly by lucky.

Italy will win the final if England play like they did tonight. They got through based on sheer luck.

It wasn’t sheer luck, we bossed the midfield and controlled the game. Kane took a shit penalty and it wasn’t the performance of his life but he got into some great positions, even dribbled past someone which he never does! He wasn’t atrocious at all.

Italy are a great side but if they play like they did against Austria we will smash them Actually player for player I think we are at least as good if not better. For example I don’t think Jorginho gets near our squad let alone our team. Problem is we play a very different sort of game to them. Us being cautious is really not playing to our strengths, it’s worked up to now but Italy are a stronger attacking force than we have faced so far.

I hope we will be better on Sunday than we were tonight and there’s every chance we will be.

I can’t believe people are saying the win was down to luck! England had the ball for more than half the game, Denmark’s defence was brilliant but they had barley any shots at the goal.

(I don’t know much about football, but that was my observation of this game)

Just watched my first ever real match, that didn’t have pop stars in the team.
