Can't see a thread on this ....

Any rugby lovers here? Not many of my girlfriends share my love of rugby.

France/Argentina - cracking close match.

Japan/Russia - glad the home team won.

Australia/Fiji fantastic first half.

And now the All Blacks v Springboks - can't wait ....

England need to pull these out the bag:
Scrum
Not dropping the ball
Not giving penalties
Speed up

Statistics suggest they have lost. (No team has ever come from being behind at half time in a final.)

AlunWynsKnee · 02/11/2019 10:18

It's looking like we ran SA closer Shock Come on England and prove me wrong!

GrouchyKiwi · 02/11/2019 10:19

All it takes is one break for a try and the whole game changes. Lots of rugby left to play. Not that I think England can do it, the way they're playing now, but things can change very quickly.

AlunWynsKnee · 02/11/2019 10:23

SA defence is v good though. But yes, they're within a score.

GrouchyKiwi · 02/11/2019 10:23

Momentum shifting now from that one good scrum.

Squigean · 02/11/2019 10:24

Before he left for work, the husband prophesied South African will bore England into a loss (or some such phrasing).

Think I should have listened and just gone to bed

RickOShay · 02/11/2019 10:25

Think the score would be different if we had another ref tbh

JacquesHammer · 02/11/2019 10:25

That’s the problem as you’ve said, England aren’t playing any sort of cohesive rugby.

MrsJoshNavidi · 02/11/2019 10:30

I reckon it's going to be won and lost by a penalty in the last 3 mins. Again.

massistar · 02/11/2019 10:34

This really is exceptionally dull.

GrouchyKiwi · 02/11/2019 10:35

Daly's having a day to forget.

Squigean · 02/11/2019 10:36

It is.

What a shame.

AlunWynsKnee · 02/11/2019 10:36

Oh I don't know MrsJosh. I wonder if SA will score a try in the last 10.

GrouchyKiwi · 02/11/2019 10:37

The passing on both sides has been poor.

GrouchyKiwi · 02/11/2019 10:37

About bloody time!

That's the Cup.

UrsulaPandress · 02/11/2019 10:38

Ofgs

AgeLikeWine · 02/11/2019 10:39

That’s the game. Congratulations South Africa, the better team won on the day.

RickOShay · 02/11/2019 10:40

What about the two forward passes?
Bloody hell

GrouchyKiwi · 02/11/2019 10:41

They weren't forward, their hands went back. The camera angle wasn't good. It was swinging around from the centre.

Butterisbest · 02/11/2019 10:42

The blame starts already

SimonJT · 02/11/2019 10:42

They weren’t forward, it was the right decision

AlunWynsKnee · 02/11/2019 10:43

First was fine. Second was flat.

massistar · 02/11/2019 10:43

Nothing wrong with those passes at all. They even checked it on TMO.

RickOShay · 02/11/2019 10:43

Oh ok
Still think the ref is biased

JacquesHammer · 02/11/2019 10:44

Let’s not do the whole “ref’s fault”.

England have lost this themselves. Absolute atrocious tactics and rugby.
