Can't see a thread on this ....

Any rugby lovers here? Not many of my girlfriends share my love of rugby.

France/Argentina - cracking close match.

Japan/Russia - glad the home team won.

Australia/Fiji fantastic first half.

And now the All Blacks v Springboks - can't wait ....

Big fan of Our Nige! Best ref ever.

I wouldn't support England, but it would be great if the 3 northern hemisphere sides plus Japan all get through to the next round.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:32

Irish press happy with him reffing?

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:33

I've seen him ref and I find him tough but fair.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:34

I genuinely think he sees the rules and that's it.

Horehound · 18/10/2019 22:36

As it should be, minority!

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:38

I know it's today for some of you but it's tomorrow for me. it's still going to start at 11.45am.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:40

I feel the need for a song...........

Christ I don't think I'll sleep

AnOojamaflip · 18/10/2019 22:45

My dream winning teams for the weekend are:

Ireland
England
France
Japan

Not too sure that'll come to fruition though!!

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:46

I don't even like him lol. It came up when I typed in 'tomorrow'. Just before I get stabbed in the morning.

MrsJoshNavidi · 18/10/2019 22:47

That'll be me tomorrow Minority.

It's like life or death, only more serious than that!

England will win, I'd be amazed if they don't. It won't be a walkover, but I don't think it'll be close either.

But what do I know, despite having a famous rugby player husband.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:50

I'd like
Ireland
SA
France
and Japan for putting Japanese rugby on the map.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:54

MrsJosh, can you just injure him? I know he's not playing tomorrow but I presume he's English in which case he deserves a groin injury............ Take one for the Mums.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:58

For the record: I do not support inflicting groin injuries on men. Only on rugby players. In which case it's recommended.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 22:59

An Ireland England final would be interesting to say the least.

Minorityreports · 18/10/2019 23:01

I think the DUP and the IRA might start a new war lol.

MrsJoshNavidi · 18/10/2019 23:07

He's half Welsh and half Iranian.

FWIW the Scrum V podcast guys think Ireland will win.

AlunWynsKnee · 18/10/2019 23:58

Minority general rugby press picking over minor details of Nige's refereeing. It's nonsense. Every ref has missed something in a game, you'd have to be super human not to.
Nigel refereed the last final. He's on the slate for this final. God knows I hope he's ruled out Grin (by virtue of Wales being in the final).
He's got the nod to referee the Wales v Babarians match as Gatland's swansong which is unprecedented. That gives you the measure of the man.

Horehound · 19/10/2019 00:22

I don't think there can be am England Ireland final as they'd meet in the semis first so only one would go through.

Horehound · 19/10/2019 00:23

I don't think England are going to win against the all blacks!

Horehound · 19/10/2019 00:23

Ireland I mean

AlunWynsKnee · 19/10/2019 00:27

England v Ireland would be a semi final not final as Horehound says.

AlunWynsKnee · 19/10/2019 00:28

Could be England v ABs in a semi.

Minorityreports · 19/10/2019 01:30

COULD STILL BE IRELAND VS ENGLAND.

I'm going to cry. I care about no other sport..

But the thoughts of tomorrow and I'm sad.

For some of us this means a lot.
