Mine love making a village! Books are used more for Lego playing than reading, for walls and stability ha.it’s usually a one story village that can snake around the whole lounge.then acting out little scenes in the village with the Lego people can last an age.

After getting the 3 in 1 castle for Christmas my son made the castle then altered it from the instructions. He’s since played with it every day creating different stories. We currently have a new King attending his coronation in a cathedral that’s only just being built, a stables, a coffee shop, a jail and the Romans setting sail for a battle.
After a weekend visit to the local Lego shop the staff managed to help him find 3 new knight mini figures and accessories to add to the current storytelling.
He also spent a long time drooling over the new knights castle hoping more knights might be on the way.

All of my children love Lego - it is the one toy they all agree on. This is DD10's latest build - a waterpark hotel. Love seeing all the creations kids come up with.

I'm sure Duplo is 90% responsibile for my sons amazing imagination.

He's almost 3 so we're not using Lego bricks yet but we spend hours creating models and thinking of weird and wonderful stories for them.

Here his latest creation a robot called Mr Candle Head. He's eaten the Duplo man who made him but it's OK because the Penguin has but him in jail.

I have 3 sons, all obsessed with Lego. My youngest (7) made this Sea Emperor Leviathon from a game called Subnautica. He used every ball joint he has. He loves the 3 in 1 sets and his older brother has recently got him into the Ninjago collections. Lego has been very important for him- He was born with a heart condition that means he has 6 monthly MRIs and balloon catheters. The wonderful nurses and play specialists bought a huge Lego police set and let him be the first to build it. They know now to bring it out for him everytime if he's superbrave when they put his cannula in. It works a treat and nit only keeps him busy during the stay but means I get a rest while he builds it!

My youngest made a Velociraptor house, including swimming pool, BBQ, R2D2 WiFi charging point and play room 😂

They both adore Lego, both the sets and making their own creations.

My son (9) is obsessed with lego. Any opportunity he scans the internet for inspiration, and sets are always on his birthday and Christmas lists! He loves sets but also loves to build from his imagination. Here are a few of his spaceships

My dd spends hours recreating her own models. We have recently had a 5 story house and currently have a vets on the go. Her latest bought set was the Lego friends Shopping Mall and she has really enjoyed adapting it to to include her own ideas.
we also have a Lego Harry Potter world set up in ds bedroom, he’s figured out how to get some of the models to ‘fly’, using string and hanging them from the underneath of his cabin bed to add to the effects. It’s brill and so imaginative.

My son can never decide if he likes technic or creator sets the best! However, just playing with his bricks keeps him busy for hours and I love the cute creations he comes up with. He's 7.
Here's his crab on wheels, Easter Bunny and Grim Reaper!!

My daughter dreams of being a penguinologist - so of course that translates into her lego creations too! So she made a penguin from lego.

My son created his very own LEGO city during then first lockdown. It took him weeks and is his prized possession. It includes a bank, a fountain, a car wash and of course, working canons to keep the bad guys from attacking his city.
He followed it up with a "gem sorter" which is also on display and is where he stores any shiny little bits of lego he gets aka gems.

I adore the fact that Lego can be incorporated in to pretty much any play. My kids have built everything from a ticket office for a play zoo, to cakes and food to go in their play kitchen. The fact that it is gender neutral and they can play with it however they want is also a massive bonus. Thank you Lego, massive fans here.

I haven't a clue what my son's latest creation is meant to be but there's clearly some sort of story going on!

He's 6 and gets some of his inspiration from watching Lego Masters Australia, which I actually enjoy watching too 😆

Our child especially loves Lego Friends and the animal sets. She also likes to use the Lego Dots for decoration. She will create and build for hours - her fav Lego builds are houses and shops, gardens and jungles. She also enjoys creating Dance Shows and Princess Balls and will spend hours mixing and matching the outfits the Friends are wearing!
