School refusing to communicate with me

Ds has been refusing school on PE days (2 days a week) since 18th May. I have phoned SENCO, she is refusing to speak to me or return my calls. I have sent her an email and she replied telling me not to contact her via email.

I am just about to write my 3rd letter informing school of why ds is not in school (to cover my own arse as school have reported me to the attendance officer)

I have offered to pick ds up before PE and drop him back after, so he doesnt have to miss 2 whole days of school. I have offered to go into school for PE lesson and various other alternatives. But school are refusing to communicate with me in any way, shape or form.

I know this is shocking and unacceptable. I have ds's name down at another school. Ive given up on this school and im now just going through the motions to cover my own arse until SA process has finished and ds is out of there.

Should i just copy and paste previous letters?

Does anyone has anything useful they think i should add?

im loving the numbering Bigpants, its very SN, you can tell you have written a long letter or 2

At the moment i feel like just telling all professionals involved to piss off. What is the point of them being involved if they dont believe a word you say. They all say they dont want to get involved in school/home dispute. But then get involved anyway believing whatever school say based on no evidence. Then when you present them with evidence which shows school are not telling truth, they dont want to get involved in school/home disputes again.

If i take ds out of school before the SA assessment though, what will happen to the process?

Thanks Mel, no worries i often lurk and scribble things down that others have said.

No that wasnt it either, it was something along the lines of just because a child isnt being disruptive, and is meeting the needs of a teacher, then blah, blah, blah. Damn it i can never remember the punch lines to jokes either

I might have added a watch to the thread, but i am watching so many, thinking that will come in handy one day!

Thanks for the link i will check it out. I have scribbled down the quote you quoted as well, im sure i can use it. Is that another Debs quote?

claw I think the SA assessment could still go ahead-thats what you could argue anyway. The assessment is to decide what support your ds needs in school/with his education? This support will be roughly the same no matter what school ds attends.
Unless of course, the LA decide to send ds to a super-duper-you cant get better school where teachers are sooo tuned-in and well-trained, that no added support is required!!! Oh yea, dream on. One day we should all cc e-mails to everyone who has made the system so torturous just saying-FUCK THE FUCK OFF! Yours, x.

Claw LOL, That quote was yours I believe!

Bigpants, i sent PP an email about 2 days ago, attaching a copy of the letter i sent to SENCO clarifying our bizarre conversation and told her i want ds to change schools ASAP.

Star, I could have sworn it was Debs who said it, still perhaps our cyber love bond has become so strong i can now read her mind
