At last!!! But I see Makaton.org know how to charge again!

Dingle · 03/08/2005 18:55

OMG!!! That works out £80 to buy the complete series on DVD!!! I think we will stick to our home recorded version!!I have better things to spend £80 on ATM!
I live in hope a new series will be made, but I supposed I'd better not hold my breath. It seems very popular, for children with and without SNs.

Fio2 · 03/08/2005 18:59

I have oredered the two that are available now .... i just couldnt wait, it will keep her very occupied, infact i managed to spend 100 quid on that bloody site yesterday

Oh Fio, I have a copy here you could use. We invested in a cheap combi video/DVD a while back when our old DVD broke. It tapes from 1 to the other (haven't actually tried it yet though!)

Jimjams · 03/08/2005 19:06

the makaton website (forum bit) suggests complaining to the bbc on the cbeebies website. I'm off to do that now.

get complaining.

Fio2 · 03/08/2005 19:11

Jimjams · 03/08/2005 19:18

ok I've started a thread on the cbeebies website message board. It's not showing yet as my registration isn't complete or something- but keep an eye and pile in and moan....

Dingle · 03/08/2005 19:19

I have it somewhere I am sure. Remember it was put out on air on BBC2 Learning zone in the early hours of the morning! It was spread over 2 nights but I couldn't fit it onto 1 DVD or video. As well as that I did have it on video, recording individual progs as they came on. I did miss 1 or 2 there, but I have most of them. I will check it out for you Fio and see what I can do!

anniebear · 03/08/2005 22:40

Thtas terrible.

Hopefully Asda will have it soon for cheaper!!!!

Any other C Beebies DVD'S would cost around £9.99

Jimjams · 03/08/2005 22:54

complain here otherwise I look like noddy no-mates

Fio2 · 04/08/2005 07:24

What am I doing wrong? Can't register, grrrr

heartinthecountry · 04/08/2005 13:44

I can't either Davros - keeps sending me round in circles. Very annoying .

heartinthecountry · 04/08/2005 13:54

Ah - managed it. I had to log out and back in again before it would recognise me though.

Davros · 04/08/2005 15:48

Still can't register, just keep getting Oops, go back and try again. Even tried a totally different name and password, no luck. Have sent them an email.

coppertop · 04/08/2005 15:55

It won't let me register. Grrr! Bl**dy thing!

coppertop · 04/08/2005 16:06

Aha! I followed HITC's advice and logged out before logging back in. Apparently my message won't appear straight away or something.
