SN Meet up again

Have lost the last SN meet up thread so have to start another.
We were talking about meeting on 12th Nov, maybe at the Royal Academy in Piccadilly. Its poss to meet there in the large cafe as early as we want and have coffee/tea and then stay for lunch if we want. It is self service with quite a good variety of food and prices.
OR someone has said the 11th Nov would be better for them and we could go back to Suze......
Anyone intersted? What do you prefer?
(Ignore MN is cliquey threads and no-one speaks to me threads )

Any more for any more now?

Dingle · 03/11/2004 09:48

oooh,,,,not sure. The thought of managing the tubes...etc. I could ask my mum to look after dd but I seem to be asking so many favours at the moment.
I'll be back later.

Thomcat · 03/11/2004 10:23

Oh Dingle, I thought you were coming hon', you'll try though right???

You need to eventually end up at Green Park or Piccadilly Circus Someone can meet up with you and help or we could wait at whatever stop you get off at, come down the stairs to meet you and help.

Staff have to help you too.

blossomhill · 03/11/2004 10:39

Lou

Davros · 03/11/2004 10:40

Wow, this is getting to be a big turn out. No cake for RnB unless she spills.....
Dingle, agree with TC, if you need help I'm sure we or someone else could rendezvous.....
Now, let's work on Jimjams to come, its not THAT far from Plymouth

OP posts:
coppertop · 03/11/2004 10:48

Sadly I won't be able to make it. The chances of me getting there and back for 3pm (when ds1 finishes school) with an ungagged/unbound ds2 are almost nonexistent.

However, I shall expect you all to extract the necessary information from RnB on the subject of Hugh Grant and to report back accordingly.

fio2 · 03/11/2004 11:06

Dingle I would feel better if you were coming as I could help you and you could help me! I will be completely lost, honest.

Been hovering round this thread for ages, hoping to come, but my MIL is going to babysit and we're off to a hotel for the night on 12th - wahey! Have a fab time all.

RnB, that really is a red rag to a bull. If you don't cough, I'm sending along a foolproof method of torture, ie. one of my home made gluten-free cakes. Believe me, you don't want that to happen.

lou33 · 03/11/2004 15:11

Me and sm will pin her down and torture her by singing bring me sunshine, if she doesn't spill the details about HUgh.

Davros · 03/11/2004 17:24

HG was on Steve Wright this afternoon, if only it had been a phone in, I'd have been on my mobile quizzing him on national radio!

Ha!!!!!!!
Let's invite Hugh to our meet-up. Anybody got his number?
Very much looking forward to our meetup, BTW...

lou33 · 03/11/2004 19:15

spacemonkey says she is 98% coming

Chocol8 · 03/11/2004 22:09

There is a possibility that I may have glandular fever, in which case I won't be able to make it. I am really hoping it's not as I am SO looking forward to meeting you all. x

blossomhill · 03/11/2004 22:15

I was so looking forward to meeting you. Hoping that it isn't glandular fever, just make sure you relax this week!!!

Chocol8 · 03/11/2004 22:19

Awww thanks Blossom - I really hope it's not too. Sorry, you said the word "relax" - what does that mean? It does look like it is though - huge glands in my neck and been feeling reeeeally pants for the last 6 weeks or so. It's very contageous so obviously I don't want to pass it on to any of you lovely people. Blood test tomorrow, results Monday or Tuesday - i'll let you know. x

blossomhill · 03/11/2004 22:22

Good luck Chocol8 - hope you feel better soon
Let us know when you get the results!

Some people will do anything to get out of a arrangement!!!!

Ahhhhh poor you, hope you're ok, lots of love, TC x

fio2 · 04/11/2004 10:36

hope you get better soon chocol8, it is awful when it is in your glands...poor you would have love to have met you too

Davros · 04/11/2004 13:18

Don't you get glandular fever from kissing . You could still come if we all promise not to kiss you!

OP posts:
Chocol8 · 04/11/2004 17:22

Yeah, Davros you do get it from kissing! I am desperately trying to think who I kissed lately (no action in the man dept at the mo).

I am sooo looking forward to coming but maybe if you made me a kiss free zone, then it would be ok?
Ah well, if I can't get snogged, i still have Fio's leg squeezing to look forward to eh?

Seriously though, I will see how I go next week, as when the tiredness washes over me, it can take all my energy just to pick up a phone. x

lou33 · 04/11/2004 18:44

I think you will find that it is me who has volunteered squeezing duty choccy

fio2 · 04/11/2004 18:47

ooo i was sitting here wonderimng when i offered under the table action

Chocol8 · 04/11/2004 18:48

Oh, Lou! Sorry...my memory, all I could remember was the leg squeezing (or was it thigh????).
