SN Meet up again

Have lost the last SN meet up thread so have to start another.
We were talking about meeting on 12th Nov, maybe at the Royal Academy in Piccadilly. Its poss to meet there in the large cafe as early as we want and have coffee/tea and then stay for lunch if we want. It is self service with quite a good variety of food and prices.
OR someone has said the 11th Nov would be better for them and we could go back to Suze......
Anyone intersted? What do you prefer?
(Ignore MN is cliquey threads and no-one speaks to me threads )

If I come i'll be there fairly early, as have to be at the Thai embassy before 12.30 to get the passports and visa back. Still not 100% though.

dinosaur · 01/11/2004 17:43

Sorry I haven't posted on this before. I'm pretty sure I can come along, as long as DH will pick up DS2 from nursery.

Thomcat · 01/11/2004 18:01

Wicked, nice one lou & Dinosaur

Davros · 01/11/2004 22:25

I'm still planning on getting there 10.30-11.00 and would need to leave by about 2.00.
TC, will you be taking the tube? I could meet you at Finchley Rd and swtich to Jubilee to go to Green Park?
Lou, let me know about bringing melatonin.

I am thinking about it but feel (stupidly) a bit nervous
Told you I wore my heart on my sleeve

Thomcat · 01/11/2004 23:50

Ohhh Davros that could be cool actually, yeah will be passing through Finchley Road and help from an bredguing bastard would be quite a novelty and quite nice actually. Up for getting there early so not a bad idea at all

Thomcat · 01/11/2004 23:51

BH - right you, what will it take? I won't leave your side, unless you want me to, I swear. We NEED to meet

Thomcat · 01/11/2004 23:53

Oh no - Davos, just read what I wrote! Ha HAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Errrrrrrrrrrrr that came out so back to front and upside down and just SO WRONG! You know what I was trying to say, I hope!

lou33 · 02/11/2004 00:08

Will let you know Davros.

Still schmoozing dh to get him onside, you know, telling him how handsome he is, what a great smile etc etc.

Davros · 02/11/2004 12:06

Oooer TC, I've been called some things in my time...!! Should be an easy enough plan and I can help you with Lottie in her pushchair.

maomao · 02/11/2004 13:26

I've been lurking on this thread, but just had to say that I'm PMSL Thomcat!

Excuse the interruption.

dinosaur · 02/11/2004 14:25

I am being really thick - is it definitely the Royal Academy in Piccadilly? For some reason DH says I told him it was the Tate Modern! Don't want to end up in the wrong place!

blossomhill · 02/11/2004 14:43

I think I would like to come but feel a bit nervous for some reason

Bumblelion · 02/11/2004 15:14

I would love to come, but would be bringing my DD and am not sure if this would be a good idea (for everyone else) or not.

lou33 · 02/11/2004 15:15

dh just dropped into conversation that I am going to the meet up. Haven't even raised it with him for a while. There's me thinking he never listens.

lou33 · 02/11/2004 15:16

Bumblelion Tc is bringing Lottie. I'm trying to persuade Spacemonkey to come and hold hands with me.

Bumblelion · 02/11/2004 15:26

Well I will be coming on my own (with my DD) - she has the confidence and social skills to help me not feel left out!!!

What time and where?

jakbrown · 02/11/2004 15:29

Blossomhill, I am too! Feels like a first date

blossomhill · 02/11/2004 15:30

Jakbrown - Are you going then?

jakbrown · 02/11/2004 15:36

Yes!!!

lou33 · 02/11/2004 15:38

Come along Bh! I've only met a couple once before for about an hour. I'll probably do or say something to make a fool of myself, so the spotlight will be off you

lou33 · 02/11/2004 15:38

Jak, get the goss out of rnb before you come, so you can regale us with it at the meet.

jakbrown · 02/11/2004 15:41

I will endeavour to get the Hugh gossip (floppy or otherwise) out of RnB!
Be strange meeting people face-to-face. I wonder if you all look like I imagine you to?! I only know what Lou looks like
