SN Meet up again

Davros · 13/10/2004 10:28

Have lost the last SN meet up thread so have to start another.
We were talking about meeting on 12th Nov, maybe at the Royal Academy in Piccadilly. Its poss to meet there in the large cafe as early as we want and have coffee/tea and then stay for lunch if we want. It is self service with quite a good variety of food and prices.
OR someone has said the 11th Nov would be better for them and we could go back to Suze......
Anyone intersted? What do you prefer?
(Ignore MN is cliquey threads and no-one speaks to me threads )

snmum, how can you be onlyjoking, thats my name

Davros · 13/10/2004 21:37

So we're talking about the 12th at the Royal Academy, say at 11am or even 10.30am if anyone thinks they would make it? Probably drifting in to lunch? TC or SNmum, I would be DD-free so do you need any help or to be met at a station? They do top salady stuff (not usually my scene!) and great puds, drooool.

Pretty ppurrlease can I come? I am actually off that day and ds-less! I'd love to meet y'all! x

snmum · 14/10/2004 06:25

10.30 - 11 seems fine, i like tea and cakes i think i would have to get off at least around 1, as it's my first time in London since I was a student and i am bound to get lost. Not as sassy as i used to be unfortunately!

Is the Royal Academy near to Victoria station?

jakbrown · 14/10/2004 08:25

If you're happy to have a newcomer there (I won't mention the C word!) then I can make it!! Do I have to wear a flower in my hair or carry a copy of Heat to be identified?

Merlot · 14/10/2004 08:41

Sorry, but I am not going to be able to make this one, but thanks for the warm invitation to us newcomers. I don't think you are at all * (c word again!) in fact you are very inclusive! Saying that, I bought Ok yesterday instead of Heat is that ok?!! Have fun at the RA - I liked the sound of the tea and cakes bit!

Thomcat · 14/10/2004 10:52

yes I will have Lottie with me. I only have her 1 day a week to myself and couldn't park her off with someone. I'll jump on the tube with her.
I'm really looking forward to this

heartinthecountry · 14/10/2004 15:10

I'm coming! Looking forward to it....
snmum (or anyone else) I could probably come and meet you at Victoria. That's if Lou33 isn't able to. I'll look into pushchair friendly buses up to Picadilly.

May or may not have dd with me...

RexandBen · 14/10/2004 17:00

so is it a saturday???

I'll do my very best Will be great to see you all again. DH may take abit of persuading to have the kids, but I'll try really hard

lou33 · 14/10/2004 18:09

InternationalGirl · 14/10/2004 20:03

Davros!! Good on you (that's the kiwi in me) for taking the reins. I am going to try for a day off (again - cringe, cringe). Can't guarantee but would love to meet more of you. Hope HITC can come too... and sorry rexandben can't

BTW - new playarea at Brent Cross Mall (behind it actually) called topsyturvyworld. Looks great - we are probably going to check it out this weekend but looks really cool from the outside. And they do have a website if you want to check it out. topsyturvyworld.com (I think)

Thomcat · 31/10/2004 01:18

bump for BH

blossomhill · 31/10/2004 01:18

Thanks

Chocol8 · 31/10/2004 10:02

Thanks Internationalgirl - I looked up Topsyturvy world from your link and wow, it looks great!

Apparently they will be getting a multi-sensory room for SN children soon - and they have exclusive sessions for children with SN too! The menu looks extremely yummy and all together, it sounds like heaven! Can't wait to go!

Hope you all have a great time and please let us know how you get on. x

lou33 · 31/10/2004 12:57
