You gotta be kidding me?

No. NO.

Youarentkiddingme · 23/09/2015 21:22

I agree. Sounds extremely dangerous and I reckon it could have negative effects.

shazzarooney99 · 24/09/2015 19:42

Ok years ago people with depression had electric shock treatment, why do you suppose they do not do this anymore? and for this reason no i wouldnt have it done, more chance of causing damage, can you imagine what damage it could cause?

Really? oh my word! i know my father used to have it years ago and then i thought they stopped it all x

NAS have tweeted this. Not read anything about it yet.

I never read anything on "cures" as it puts me in mind of RL parents who are "if you cut out dairy, gluten etc" you will be cured. Maybe they have a very valid though process but I suspect I am very entrenched in science and my own thought process ( Apple not falling from its tree? )

I will have a read and open my mind I think.

I like this post, shame theres not a like button.

2boysnamedR · 24/09/2015 23:43

Hmm - it wasn't nas.

Sounds a bit flimsy. My dyspraxic son has done all of those things in three years. Just by growing. He's had minimal help. He internalises his flapping. His language has come on. He shows more empathy and interest in the world and others. But he's still fundamentally him.

Sorry how do you do clicky links via mobile site?

Why?

QueenStarlight · 28/09/2015 12:57

'Who are you and why are you hounding us?'

Kidsmyworld · 28/09/2015 13:33

I came across this last week whilst chatting with a friend in America and because it was all new to me i decided to start a thread about it ...Why has that constituted to hounding you... I thought the website is about sharing information and opinion?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-34326801 This was on the news yesterday. Makes me feel sick.

Parents only become desperate because services are so shit and disability such a stigma.

Kidsmyworld · 28/09/2015 13:58

This is my first link and i can sense a bit of aggression from you as well... First i was sharing info and now my opinion is this- There might be a new kind of therapy that might work for autistic kids in the future, but parent would have to do their research to make sure it is safe..

I am getting the vibe that some people on this page feel the need to be pushy and dismissive of other people's opinion if not in agreement... Like i said i was just hoping to have a passive discussion without any kind of meanness on my page....

There are no aggressive responses to your opinion because you didn't give one.

QueenStarlight · 28/09/2015 14:03

And that sounds more like an advert than an opinion.

'interest rates can go up as well as down' no doubt.

I posted because i felt this information might help someone because my friend who lives in USA benefited from it.. I did not anticipate the dismissive response from some people... I cant remember hounding or selling any therapy to anyone. I set out by asking if anyone is aware of this new Therapy in the USA and then all i am getting are challenges from people...

I am really shocked and at this stage- Would like to take a bow out.
