purplepidjin · 12/11/2010 20:12

I have no idea what I did, Stark hasn't been in touch!

ouryve · 12/11/2010 20:12

I've been getting up and doing funny walks every half hour, all day, just to keep it from seizing up again. Good job I have net curtainsBlush

LollipopViolet · 12/11/2010 20:13

Hmm I'm not going to say how old I'll be this birthday as a) some of you know, and b) it might make you all Envy

Anyway, I'm about to go and book a hotel for the Faithless show on December 4th! Anyone know Manchester nightlife and how wheelchair friendly the clubs are? We want to go partying after the gig :) (see, that gives away how old I am!)

PolarEyes · 12/11/2010 20:16

my back first went when I was at work, and I could only walk sideways. the first aider kept taking me round to various people to ask advice. including the chairman who I'd previously mistaken for an employee of the floor below us as he was in the office so infrequently Blush

ouryve · 12/11/2010 20:17

Polareyes - I've been rotating the co-codamol and ibuprofen. Heat works better than cold, mind - when I've done this to myself in the past, it's been when I was cold. Oh - and once when I had an epidural when having DS1, purple!

Anyhow, DS2's asleep. I have a cute hat to knit!

LegoLady95 · 12/11/2010 20:18

Maybe I should join the bad back club instead of nightclub. I took boys to playgroup this morning and it was closed, cue me half carrying/half dragging two screaming kids back to the car, so my troublesome back is bad too. DS2 cried for half an hour :(
Am trying to decide on some of DP's codeine, more wine, or both.
Regular yoga is a great way to fend off recurring back problems, I must carve out the time

LegoLady95 · 12/11/2010 20:22

Polar - lol at your DP's gibberish, sure he wasn't having you on to get the lie-in!
My DP gets up at 4.30am when on days, so he usually wins the 'who's most tired competition'.

ShadeofViolet · 12/11/2010 20:40

5 - happy birthday for tomorrow - hope you enjoy your child free day.

Lollipop - are you younger than me? I am a mere 27 (though I feel about 50)

Well I wanted to come on here and boast - DS actually cleaned his teeth tonight! Well, more tickled his tongue and chewed the brush, but he actually put it near his mouth which is an absolute miracle - and he had a whole playe of pasta for dinner, so that has cancelled out my bad week :)

Im not on the wine, but I have just eaten a waitrose lemon cupcke which was so yummy I might eat another!

SausageMonster · 12/11/2010 20:56

Hi guys

Lollipop you are less than half my age.

Nasty, nasty and long week at work which I'm glad is over. It's been like herding cats!

Rose now open and going down nicely thank you.

Any teachers about tonight who can help on the educational records thread?

Goblin?

LollipopViolet · 12/11/2010 20:58

Woo, hotel booked for December! And I've put on the booking it's sort of a celebration of my birthday, so we'll see if the hotel does anything nice for us :)

ShadeofViolet · 12/11/2010 20:59

Ah Lollipop, I can see you are younger than me :)

intothewest · 12/11/2010 21:06
