Amused, are you me? We're the same weight and pizza is my downfall too!

I've had a really good day today. Eggs on toast for breakfast, pasta with vegetables and chilli beans for lunch and diet coke chicken and rice for dinner.

I haven't felt hungry at all today and I've had no snacks. I haven't even ]thought about them. I love days like this, it makes it all feel so easy to stay on plan. Much better than those days when I'd happily sell my husband for pizza and chocolate.

thisgirlrides · 13/11/2017 19:40

Wow loads of losses well done & @latedecember1963 good luck for your op.
1lb loss for me this week which is expected (was 3lbs on Friday but had curry & went out for a pizza over the weekend ShockBlush) . Really enjoyed my meals today :

B: Poached egg & wilted spinach on 1 toast (HEB) plus white coffee (HEA)
Apple for snack
Lunch: small tin of low sugar beans on sweet potato with large salad dressed with balsamic, lemon juice & black pepper
Snack: satsuma & some carrot sticks whilst I cooked tea
D: beef ramen (yummy spicy clear broth with noodles, carrots & spinach and some leftover roast beef fat removed). Might have fat free yogurt later and another coffee with milk.

Petaldrops · 13/11/2017 20:16

Just popping on to say the chicken & ham pots from the Nov/Dec magazine were gorgeous found it easy enough to make and only 1 syn per portion
B - Porridge hxb and grapes 1 tsp sugar 1 syn, coffee and milk hxa
L - chicken, mixed bean salad, feta 2 syns coleslaw 5syns

Trills · 13/11/2017 21:26

I made the "just like Heinz" soup, ate one portion, got bored and turned the rest into a daal by adding red lentils and spices, and then topping with yoghurt.

Takeaway pizza is my danger food - any time I'm spiralling, that's how it starts Blush

I peeked this morning and I'm 12st 9.5, which is the lightest I've ever been as an adult. It has spurred me on massively and I can't wait to push through to the 11's Shock

I have NEVER seen an 11 on the scale. We didn't have them at home because my mum was obsessive so I weighed myself at a friend's house when I was 12 years old and I was 10 stone. Fast forward five years and I turned up at Weight Watchers at 15st 5. I got down to 12st 11 and then piled it all back on, plus extra. Cue the next ten years yo-yoing between 13st 7 and 16st 7 Sad

HOWEVER, I feel so motivated this time and I'm really enjoying SW. Just 30.5lbs to my initial target, 46.5 to my ultimate dream goal (which will be 100lbs lost and I'll be lighter than I was at 12 years old!).

UnwiseOldElf · 14/11/2017 09:34

Half a pound for me last night >gritted teeth

latedecember1963 · 14/11/2017 11:38

Thank you for the lovely good luck messages!
Amusedbush, your last post just brought a tear to my eye.
Elf, when I lose 1/2 I think of it as a block of Lurpak butter gone as my consolation.

Tweetypie30 · 14/11/2017 17:05

Yes, takeaway pizza is my danger zone too.

2lbs off for me this week and I'm back on track. Really want to stay on plan again this week as it's my sons birthday and my nephews the following week and I know I won't be able to stay on plan then. To many family celebrations going on that involve food.

Petaldrops · 14/11/2017 20:56

I wasn't really in the mood for food today but kept on track I just didn't each a lot of speed food.

B&L Coffee, milk (hxa) chicken, beetroot, feta cheese 2syns, grated carrot, salad

D - pork and apple burgers 3syns for 2, mayo 2syns, cheese 3 1/2syns burger bun (hxb)

Whats your go to snack to curb your sweet cravings ladies?

Groovee · 14/11/2017 21:14

Stayed the same this week. Fed up being 100% and not losing every 4 weeks.

@Groovee that’s really frustrating or you. Are you writing everything down as I find that helps when I slip or sts. What have you had today? Maybe try posting on here what you’ve had at the end of the day (& including absolutely everything Wink) & one of us can spot if you’re going wrong somewhere.

thisgirlrides · 14/11/2017 21:20

@Petaldrops either popcorn (not toffee!), sugar free jelly or a square of dark chocolate

PositiveAttitude · 14/11/2017 21:38

Groovee I understand your frustration. Dont give up (I know thats easier said than done) I have been wobbling about the same mark for the past 6 months!

Although i am now smiling like a cheshire cat here!!! 2.5lb off for me tonight back over the 5stone loss mark and now just 1lb from my lowest weight for about 20 years!! Once that 1lb is off I feel I will be in virgin territory!! Grin Not holding out much hope for the coming week though.... Thursday had a night out planned with old friends, then Dsis organised a meal out Friday evening to discuss plans for DDad`s 90th birthday and then lo and behold a miracle of all miracles happened and DH offered to take me out to lunch on Friday. Ok, Ok, I realise that will be 2 meals out on Friday, but DH has honestly NEVER offered to take me out to lunch. He is always so reluctant and it would take much nagging from me to get him out for a meal, so after 30 years together I am going to grab the meal with both hands and ignore the stupidity of the day. If I mentioned that a different day other than Friday might be a good idea I fear that I might have to wait another 30 years for that blue moon to appear on the horizon again!! Grin

Petaldrops · 14/11/2017 21:59

Thanks @thisgirlrides :)
That's great news @PositiveAttitude well done and I second what PA said @Groovee don't give up :)

JaceLancs · 14/11/2017 22:00

Got my 4 stone award tonight - I’m a fairly slow loser so feels very hard won
Everyone in my group was lovely as I’m the highest female loser - but others lose much bigger amounts - I average a pound a week
I’ve got 2stone 3lb to go to target and that will take at least 6 months
Any help or inspiration out there?

OwlinaTree · 14/11/2017 22:54

Well done jace! Sts for me, grrr! 100% on plan this week, but probably still playing for the previous weeks.

Have a meal out planned for Sunday, but other than that going to stay on plan, try and get a loss!!

JaceLancs · 14/11/2017 23:21

Am sure you can do it Owlina - I’ve got my first xmas do this week but will try n make good choices

Groovee · 15/11/2017 07:47

It’s a monthly cycle thing 😩 it’s been since I came off the mini pill and had my surgery. I’m counting every syn to the letter, weighing my healthy extras and only snacking on speed foods or protein. Every 4 weeks I’m 💯 and don’t lose. Never had this issue before. And I expect it but was really hoping things would work differently this month.

Only need 2.5st to my 4st award.

Congratulations @JaceLancs

Good luck @OwlinaTree

Enjoy @PositiveAttitude

@thisgirlrides thank you. It’s not my food or fluids. It’s my blinking body. I don’t actually bleed after surgery but I still have a cycle. And I seem to gain or maintain despite having a fab week. Maybe I need to accept it and get over myself.

I'M WEARING SIZE 12 JEANS ShockShock

My jeans and top are both size 12 from "normal" shops and they're not stretchy! I dug them out of my Must Get Thinner stash of clothes on a whim and they both fit - I can't believe it. I've never been smaller than a size 16 as an adult and I've been persevering with my 16/18/20's for weeks. I feel like someone is going to jump out and tell me that it's a big joke and the labels are wrong Blush

Scribblegirl · 15/11/2017 09:46

Oh amused that's great news, congratulations!! That must feel incredible Smile

Congrats to all the other losers too.

I weigh in at midday, currently resisting the urge to go to the toilet as I'm going to try and hold on for 11.55am. The glamour of SW.... Blush

Scribblegirl · 15/11/2017 12:40

1lb down - think I've seen the end of the initial big losses which is a shame but absolutely happy with that.

Groovee · 15/11/2017 13:07

Well done @Scribblegirl

Great NSV @amusedbush

Been to the dentist. They told me not to eat for 2 hours and I am still completely numb

OP posts:
amusedbush · 15/11/2017 13:25

Well done Scribblegirl!

That's a tub of butter gone forever.

Scribblegirl · 15/11/2017 13:30

Ha, I've got to keep thinking like that amused. Hopefully I'll charge down from my 16s and join you in your 12s before too long!!

Ouch groovee, what did you have done?

Groovee · 15/11/2017 14:29

Had a crack in my tooth so they were drilling it and filling. Have chopped up a banana to stop me chewing too much, finely chopped an apple and some grapes. Didn’t expect to be so numb still. I only had 1/2 of a numbing thing this time. Previously at 15st it took 4 lots to numb me.
