I've become a bit intrigued by all the getting up times I've seen in the thread about school runs in pjs. Also, does your dh go to bed/get up at the same time?

I go to bed at about 10.30pm and get up at 7.11 am

karen999 · 07/02/2008 21:40

Lol at 7.11am! I get up at 6.50...cant get up on an uneven number!

Go to bed anything between 9 and 11pm...depending on how tired I am. DP usually goes to bed at the same time as me...

babyinarms · 07/02/2008 21:45

Go to bed at 11pm approx (usually after sleeping and drooling for at least an hour on the sofa).
Up at 6/6.30am, when my early riser of a 3 year old graces our room!
Also doing night feed for 5 month old DD (really need to cut that out!)
Maybe I shuold go to bed earlier...always wondering why I'm so tired

llareggub · 07/02/2008 21:47

I get up too early and go to bed too late.

DS wakes me up at 6.30am and I've always, always been bit of a night owl. Even though I have to get up at silly o'clock I still cant train myself to go to bed earlier.

FrannyandZooey · 07/02/2008 21:48

about 6 am, 7 am if very lucky

in bed most nights by 10.30 pm

ruddynorah · 07/02/2008 21:49

bed by 1am if i've been working, about 10.30 if not.

up whenevr dd wakes up, no school run yet, so about 7.30 or 8.

dosydot · 07/02/2008 21:49

Bed at 11 read for an hour then sleep
Often up in night as DC tend to have night waking
Up at 6ish, never later than 6.30 when Dh gets up for work.
I like to be up dressed and showered before he leaves at 7.15 dc wake between 5.30 and 7 dependent on how muc they have been up in the night.

taffy101 · 07/02/2008 21:50

DS going through phase of waking up at about 5.15, so going to bed very shortly.
DH works shifts so is all over the place. Sometimes on his days off he lets me stay in bed till 8.50 (bliss) when he goes to take dd to school, so i need to attend to ds.

AdamAnt · 07/02/2008 21:51

Bed at 9 (Lent resolution), read or MN til 10.30.

Get up at 8am.

evenhope · 07/02/2008 21:53

Bed about 10 - 10.30pm.

Up at 7am on 3 working days, or 8- 10.30am (depending on DD) on the 4 non-working days.

(we are co-sleeping and she is awake loads in the night)

Left to his own devices DH would go to bed about 1am and get up about 11am.

SeaShells · 07/02/2008 21:53

Get up between 7-8am and go to bed between 10-11pm.

My alarm is set for 7.11 too! Annoys DH, who only does "proper times". Would be later if I didn't shower and get dressed, but I have a fear of breaking down/having an accident on the school run and having to stand at the side of the road in my pjs

Bed at around 10.30, later if DH is working (I feel I have to guard the house)

StudentMadwife · 07/02/2008 21:58

bed anywhere between 11pm-2am depending on what type of week ive had, up at 5.30am to get kids and me up and dressed to leave at 7am

Thomcat · 07/02/2008 21:59

Weekday: - Alarm goes off at 7am and we get up about 7.20, maybe 7.30.

Leave house 8.20, maybe 8.30.

Go to bed, well it differs, never in bed before 10.30, try to never go to sleep later than midnight. Average about 11.30ish.

Weekends - ignore kids till about 8am, if we're lucky they are quiet and we can go until 9am but that's the latest we've ever gone to. 8/8.30 is the norm at weekends.
Go to bed midnight.

However I'm co-sleeping/breastfeeding a 4month old and she wakes about every 2/3 hours 24/7 at the moent so......

Bewilderbeast · 07/02/2008 22:00

bed between 11.30 and 12 and up between 6.15 and 6.30

GrinningSoul · 07/02/2008 22:02

bed around 12-1am, usually after DH, up at 7.30am. takes half an hour to wake kids. always late for everything. i know i should go to bed earlier.

DaphneHarvey · 07/02/2008 22:07

Bed at 11. Asleep by 12. Up at 7 - 7.30. School run at 8.55 (we live 3 min walk from school).

rookiemater · 07/02/2008 22:07

Gosh I must need my sleep more than most, except thomcat . Weekdays up around 7.15, in bed around 10.30- 11.00, unless DH feeling romantically inclined. Weekend up when DS wakes up so somewhere between 8.30 - 9.30 and in bed around 11.00 - 11.30.

LazyLinePainterJane · 07/02/2008 22:09

I aim for bed at 10pm, sometimes it's later, recently it's been about 9 as I have been knackered. We get up at about 7.

I always need more sleep.

sophiewd · 07/02/2008 22:12

Go to bed between 10.30 and 11.00 depending if anything good on TV, Dh gets up at 7 to do DD (I always offer but he always says stay in bed) I get up between 7.30 and 8

elliott · 07/02/2008 22:13

I am very at all these people waking up at 7 and 8am - I though all small children woke up at unfeasibly early hours?

I am a night owl by preference and can't manage to get to bed much before 11pm, and often closer to 11.30 - though my quality of life would be immeasurably improved if I could manage even half an hour earlier.

Always woken up too early! Dh gets up at 6.40, often we have already been woken by ds2. I crawl out of bed at the latest possible moment, about 7.15.
I hallucinate about the possibilities of sleeping until 8am - I can't remember the last time that happened....

Hulababy · 07/02/2008 22:14

Work days: I am up at 6am to leave the house no later than 6:50am; DH does school run.

School day (but not work day): up about 7am after DH has had a shower

Bedtimes on school nights is about 10-10:30pm, and thn we will read for a little while in bed.

Weekend: when DD wakes up - so betwen 7:30-8:30am; she has started coming downstars to watch TV so DH and I sometimes get a lie in.

Bedtime on weekends is later for us depending on if we are out or have friends round. If on our own will be around 10:30-11ish.

ChasingSquirrels · 07/02/2008 22:14

up;
Mon, Tue, Thu - 6.40am
Wed, Fri - 7am
Sat - whenever ds2 wakes up (usually by 7am)
Sun - when I wake up (dh gets up with the kids).

bed;
aim for 10pm, but mostly 11pm. dh usually comes with me if he is home, he is the reason it is not 10pm more often.

elliott · 07/02/2008 22:14

Seriously how do you produce a child that wakes up at 8.30 at the weekend? Please tell me there is hope....
