I've become a bit intrigued by all the getting up times I've seen in the thread about school runs in pjs. Also, does your dh go to bed/get up at the same time?

Alarm goes off at 6 during the week and we get up at 6:30. I go to bed between 9 and 10.

Weekends, whenever DS gets up.

mumtoone · 10/02/2008 20:45

During the week I go to bed between 10 and 10.30pm and I'm up at 6.15am if not before as my dd is an early waker.

pippylongstockings · 10/02/2008 20:55

Up by 6.30am at the latest on work days but my DS2 normally wakes before then - thank goodness for b/f I snuggle him in bed for a while.

Bed by 10pm(ish)and then up normally at least once in the night as DS1 is going through a stage....

discoverlife · 10/02/2008 20:57

Slovenly slattern here, To bed hopefully before 2am (can't go until DH is ready as he needs help) and up at 9am.

EzrasMummy · 11/02/2008 13:44

up by about 6, in bed usually by 10. weekends, whenever my baby wakes me up

Anna8888 · 11/02/2008 13:46

Bed about 10.30 / 11 pm, up at 7.30 ish.

MrsMattie · 11/02/2008 13:48

I go to bed early these days, usually by about 1pm/10.30, although now and then I stay up much later. Usually up by about 7am when DS wakes up, although DH gives me a little lie in now and then.

unknownrebelbang · 11/02/2008 13:49

I get up between 6 and 9.30 am. Depends on DH's shift and whether he can do the school run, plus what I've got on at work.

(The DC are all of an age where they can pretty much sort themselves out).

Go to bed any time between 8ish and 1ish, depending on ooh all sorts of things.

MrsMattie · 11/02/2008 13:50

10pm

themoon66 · 11/02/2008 13:54

Go to bed about 12.30am.

Get up with alarm at 6.45am.

fruitcorner · 11/02/2008 14:14

Bed about 11ish then awake 2ish to listen to baby whinging, then 4ish to feed baby and usually up at some other point in the night for other children ( nightmare, loo trip, wet bed etc!). Up at 7ish unless Saturday which is my lie-in

bandgeek · 12/02/2008 03:24

DiscoDizzy · 12/02/2008 03:53

DiscoDizzy · 12/02/2008 03:54

posieflump · 12/02/2008 06:39

I go to bed and read at about 10pm but always try for lights out at 10.30pm. Get up anytie from 6.30am to 7.30am depending on when the dcs wake me

duchesse · 12/02/2008 06:47

Times vary wildly- between bed at 1am & up at 8, and bed at 10pm & up at 5 (like today). Seven hours seems to be pretty standard though.

moonmother · 12/02/2008 07:19

We got a new puppy a couple of weeks ago and he's an early riser -needs to be out of his crate and let outside for 5.30- 6am (at the latest.)
My Ds (4)has got into the habit of now waking at the same time so I'm usually wandering around the house by 6.
Don't mind usually as I'm an early riser anyway but as my Ds is just over an ear infection and my DD has just come down with norovirus and been keeping me up all night being ill I'm not such a happy mummy at the mo

Bedtime is usually around 10.30-11pm

TheGoddessBlossom · 12/02/2008 09:22

My DH takes the piss because if I am still up at 10pm (shock horror) I get panicky and run around getting myself ready for bed, as DS2 usually wakes me up between 5 and 5.30am. It's hideous. Agree with previous poster about complete green eyed monster jealousy about those sleeping till 8am! Haven't done that for over three years. I need at least 8 hours sleep, and usually get about 7.5 by going to bed early.

DH never comes to bed with me unless he is feeling romantic! He's got this funny hang up about going to bed before the pub closes, even though he hasn't gone to the pub during the week, certainly not till closing, for about 15 years..... I do tell him I won't tell anyone but it doesn't seem to make any difference....

MegBusset · 12/02/2008 09:29

I usually aim to be in bed by 11 but the last couple of weeks it has crept closer to midnight. At the moment DS is waking around 6am.

DH doesn't always come to bed at the same time -- he likes to stay up and play on his Xbox. If I try to get him to come to bed with me, I get grumbled at. If I don't, he stays up til 1.30am, then is tired the next morning and I get grumbled at.

Fluffsuptheduff · 12/02/2008 14:32

i am very rarely up after 10pm. i get up with dh at about 7, even though I'm on mat leave and don't have to. i have this thing that if i don't get up at a reasonable time in the morning i'll turn into someone who watches jeremy kyle all day and does nothing else. obviously the above will all change when pfb arrives. then i will probably have 10 minutes sleep a night and won't be able to see jeremy kyle through the tears.

Kewcumber · 12/02/2008 14:35

Up 6.30am in the week. 7-7.30 at weekend (if I can persuade DS to hop in my bed and watch cbeebies whilst I snooze - ie rarely!)

Bed 10.30-11pm, any later (once a week maybe) and I'm buggered the next day.

Kewcumber · 12/02/2008 14:36

no DH/DP so not relevant.

IndigoMoon · 12/02/2008 14:41

school days i get up around 7 - 7.30 am. go to bed any time after midnight.

school hols, getting up 8 - 8.30am and going to bed at the same time - last night was just after twelve.

suzi2 · 12/02/2008 14:46

Usually go to bed around 11 ish as does DH. Sometimes DD wakes about then (she wakes a lot) and needs me so sometimes it's nearer midnight or 1am. Then up a few times a night with her. Morning for DD is between 5:30 and 6:30 at which point I give her to DH and go to the spare room for another hour or two (bliss!). DS is up about 6:30 - 7:30.
