I've become a bit intrigued by all the getting up times I've seen in the thread about school runs in pjs. Also, does your dh go to bed/get up at the same time?

Go to bed between 10.30/11.00 (used to be earlier before I found mn), I read for about 20 mins.

I get up anywhere between 7.00/7.30am on a weekday and probably around 9.00am on a weekend.

Hulababy · 07/02/2008 22:18

elliott- for us we know that DD will sleep for about 10.5-11 hours a night, so often at weekends she goes to bed later and we work around that.

iwouldgoouttonight · 07/02/2008 22:19

I got to bed between 9-11pm and get up at 6.30am to get myself ready before DS wakes up.

DP goes to bed between 12-1am and gets up about 8am, which is becoming An Issue for me as I have to get DS ready, make breakfast, sort out washing, get DS's things ready for nursery, etc while he just lies there asleep.

Blandmum · 07/02/2008 22:20

Bed at about 10, up at 6.40 in the week

have a lie in on the week end to around 7.30- 8.00

Blandmum · 07/02/2008 22:21

and we leave the house at 7.40 . On the dot!

elliott · 07/02/2008 22:23

gaahh. I put my kids to bed late and they just get up early and grumpy. I thought they all did that
actually its really only ds2 who is the problem. He's 4 but only seems to need about 11 hours sleep - there is no way I could keep him up till 9....

I always need more sleep too.

go to bed 10.30ish, up at 6.30/7ish 6 days a week. Dh and I take it in turns to get up with dd at weekends while the other one has a lie in!

latchmeregirl · 07/02/2008 22:30

Aim to be in bed by 10.30pm (better get a move on), asleep by 11pm. Usually up around 4am to feed the ravenous baby for a few minutes, then on a good morning won't hear from anyone until 7.15 when dd (3) comes barrelling in to our room (she's only supposed to get out of bed when her light comes on with the timer switch). We get up about 15 minutes later. On a bad morning (today) I'll be pestered by both of them from 6am until whatever time I give up and get up.

uprightsoapy · 07/02/2008 22:31

Usually go to bed around 1am and get up sometime between 6am and 7am, depending on whether I am getting the children ready for school, or DH is. Sunday is lie in day so usually get up around 9.30

seasidemama · 08/02/2008 17:47

In bed at 7pm after DD's feed. Sleep from about 11 after DD's last feed. Get up at 6.30 for shower, tea and quiet before DD wakes up at 7.

ScoobyDYSONDoo · 08/02/2008 17:50

Bed anywhere between 9.30-11pm depending on how tired i am, up at 7am every morning, dp gets up at 6.30 & goes to bed about 10-11pm depending on how tired he is.

Ds would sleep forever, dd wakes anytime from 6am.

BexieID · 08/02/2008 17:55

Hmmm, well I goto bed around 11:30pm and get up around 10am. But I do work 3 nights a week and have to pick up Tom from the in-laws on my way home and he is usually still awake! Friday nights i'm in bed around 11pm and get up at 5:30am Saturday mornings for work! This week we've been poorly, so we've been up at 11:30am every day!

Unfitmother · 08/02/2008 17:57

Bed at 10:30 up at 05:45 during the week.

Lie in at weekends.

PersonalClown · 08/02/2008 17:57

Bed is usually around 10:30pm.
School days- alarm goes off at 7:30am but I get up after 2 songs on the iPod to wake me up! Nothing like a good sing-song or boogie to wake you up.
Weekends and holidays- wake up about 9:30am. Got Ds trained that if my alarm doesn't go off, I don't have to get up so he leaves me and goes downstairs to play or watch TV!!

RosaLuxOnTheBrightSideOfLife · 08/02/2008 18:00

Bed anytime between 1 and 2.30am. You will often find me on here very late because DH hates it when I read in bed while he's trying to sleep.
Up - 7.30 weekdays, and usually 8.30 weekends.

lucykate · 08/02/2008 18:02

go to bed at about midnight, (work from home so tend to work most evenings when dc's are in bed), up at around 7, usually up in the night as ds is not sleeping well atm and ends up in our bed

jacobandlysetteandabump · 09/02/2008 05:37

bed about 930-10 depending on time dh gets in from work, and normally wake when ds wakes at 720ish, although dh very kindly called me at 4am this morning from conference in the states 5 hours behind asking if we were up yet... and i can't get bck to sleep

Othersideofthechannel · 09/02/2008 05:58

I am going to show this thread to DH who is always teasing me for wanting to go to bed at 10pm.

Alarm rings at 6.30 am on school/work days. Sometimes woken earlier by DD.
On non-school days the DCs sometimes sleep in until past 7 if we are v. lucky. But my biological clock wakes me up at 6.30 anyway unless we have had a rare night out.

ghosty · 09/02/2008 06:39

DH goes to be at around 10/10.30. I keep planning to go to bed then too but I end up pottering or on MN so I go to bed at about 11. My aim this week is to go to bed at 10. I look quite tired these days.

DH gets up at 6am most days to go for a run and I get up at 6.30 and get in the shower.

DD goes to bed at about 7.30pm (asleep by 8)
DS goes at 8pm (often still awake at 9.30 )

DD wakes up at around 7.30am
DS wakes up at between 6 and 6.30am (as he is 8 it is ok, he feeds the cat then puts the tv on really quietly and watches whatever sport he can find - cricket is the preference - until I come down.

kiskidee · 09/02/2008 06:40

been awake since 4 but up since half past.

I was asleep at around 7 pm, mind.

BBBee · 09/02/2008 06:40

bed between 12-2
up 6 (body wakes up - no reason)
up at 4am 2/3 days a week when working

foofi · 09/02/2008 06:44

Generally get up around 6.30am but kids usually up before that.

They go to bed around 8pm, and I start getting ready for bed straight after that, but am not usually asleep until 10ish.

ladytophamhatt · 09/02/2008 06:51

Usuallly go to bed at 11-ish, rarely before 11 though.

get up when ds4 starts annoying waking me, which is anytime between 5-6am but I spend about 40minutes trying to ignore him before that.

Same for school day/weekends. Dh goes to bd depending on his shifts. Alarm was set for 3:25am this week so he's been in bed by 9;30 atthe lastest.
