charlie for your supportive hubby. like amber, mine just goes along with whatever i say but to suggest you go to your mums for a good nights sleep is amazing

meggy wow, that was a good night!!! (apart from the projectile vomit) yay lo for that good stretch of sleep

skirmish 4 wks countdown, wow....then we'll ahve a new bubba here. [broody emoticon]

amber positive thoughts for your breast scan my love x

meggy - hope you have a good time tonight. you deserve it......found anything to wear yet??

EP - we're in the same boat too. although thank god its payday tomorrow and thank god for overdrafts dp keeps threatening to work on the weekends, but its the only time we get as a family due to him teaching til quite late most nights

tibsy · 25/10/2007 15:13

ginger - meant to say, yeah, lo so cute when she walks along. only thing is, the first times she kept doing i would wave my arms in the air shouting 'yey, clever walking girl'.....shes expecting it all the time now

for your cutey patootie walking bubs. it does get better and better

Amberjee · 25/10/2007 15:13

oooh, they're back!

MegBusset · 25/10/2007 15:14

I have put together an outfit of sorts but need tights advice! (I think it's far too cold to go bare, unlike most girls you see around Enfield ). I have a green jumper, light brown skirt, dark brown ankle boots, so what colour tights shall I wear? Preferably want to wear some nice cosy opaque ones...

OP posts:
MegBusset · 25/10/2007 15:16

I mean can I get away with opaque brown tights or will that make me look like a walking tree?

OP posts:
tibsy · 25/10/2007 15:23

i reckon brown would be ok meg. think you will look lovely.

bare legs?........nah. mine would look like corned beef in this weather

Amberjee · 25/10/2007 15:34

i am fashion hopeless, sorry! i'm sure brown would be fine.

Amberjee · 25/10/2007 16:56

ds still asleep since 3.30. guess i better wake him up since it's pretty much dark

gingerninja · 25/10/2007 17:16

apparently you need to press f5 for the hats. Not sure why but it works

charliemama · 25/10/2007 17:41

Thankyou Ginger. I thought I was going mad from sleep deprivation cos I could see no hats!!!

gingerninja · 25/10/2007 20:33

I don't get this new layout. Anyone else getting a different layout?

gingerninja · 25/10/2007 20:37

phew, just worked out how to change it back to normal. Don't like change me.

charliemama · 25/10/2007 20:43

I too am not fond of change so have made all the necessary adjustments back to normal, but the page thing is still driving me a little nuts.

To prove I can sometimes be cheerful I thought I would quickly say hello and say that today was indeed a better day. Ds2 spent some of the day not in my arms! . My friend has agreed to cover my job a bit longer so I don't have to start back at work until the end of Feb. (Finances permitting) and I actually spent some of today enjoying being a mummy. . Hope you are all well. I'm off to watch last nights Heroes which I have recorded.

Tamdin · 25/10/2007 21:22

help. hate new layout how do i change it back to way it was...ginger ...anyone?

Tamdin · 25/10/2007 21:25

double phew. worked it out. don't like change either! don't imagine many will

Amberjee · 25/10/2007 21:41

i don't like it, i don't like it. how to change back?

MegBusset · 25/10/2007 23:08

Amber, click 'Customise talk board' at the top.

Just got back from my night out... was late getting there as LO had a shit fit just as I was heading out the door, hollered his head off for half an hour, had to Medised in the end, but has been fine for DH since then. I had a nice time and some very nice chocolate cake

Off to bed now, hope you're all tucked up and peacefully snoozing

OP posts:
Amberjee · 26/10/2007 07:45

yay for the chocolate cake meg, very glad to see you have night out. i wasgoing to go to a friends bday drinks tomorrow but now dh is sick, so willprob stayy home.

Tamdin · 26/10/2007 08:00

amber go to friend's drinks party. dh will cope and if he can't he can call you. you need the time away (just sticking my oar in)

good night here
dh put ds to bed (in cot)
woke at 12 to come in with us
woke at 7.45 for day

Amberjee · 26/10/2007 08:05

Tam, nah i feel bad. dh was really good when i was sick, and when i was a bit mad and refused to get out of bed and deal with ds for a whole night so it's only fair

Amberjee · 26/10/2007 08:25

oh, we had a pretty average night. ended up feeding more as dh was sick and normally he can get ds back to sleep by rocking. i only have my boobs

Tamdin · 26/10/2007 08:54

sorry amber read your first post as ds is sick not DH* even i'm not that cruel!
nothing worse than trying look after a lo when you're not well.

skirmish · 26/10/2007 09:19

new format is poo

another great night here - had to wake ds at 8.10am! (wonder what time he would have slept too ) Think he must be sneaking out in the night and staying up late!

megs - glad you enjoyed a night out - just realised I haven't been out by myself (with the girls type of thing) since ds has been born, so may have to organise something for the next 4wks!

to those who had good little sleepers last night

skirmish · 26/10/2007 09:20

to not too or maybe til might have been better

Amberjee · 26/10/2007 09:24

yay for skirmish's ds!
