I am trying controlled crying.... right now!

Put Jessica to bed at 7pm, she lay nicely for 10 minutes drinking her milk.

Since then she has screamed. I went in after 10 minutes crying and realised she had a dirty nappy, so changed her and put her back to bed and left her.

She is STILL screaming. Do i jsut leave her to cry herself to sleep at her bedroom door or keep going in?!

God i wish i had left her in the cot now...... bloody beds!

Sid was asleep at 7.15pm, stirred at 1.30am and then got up at 6.30. If I could have that every night it would be a godsend.

Jess seems to of settled into the routine really well.

8.30am WOW that is amazing.

Well Sid had 1.5hrs nap at 11.30am til 1pm then woke on her own which is great and she has gone to bed at 7.15pm without a wimper.

Is it something in the air that is making our lo's sleep now or is there a conspiracy theory to make us look really bad.

Well I definately spoke too soon.
I think meds have worn off seein gas I have been up since 1.30am and she is refusing to have a nap.
HV has been out to see me and she has said sid has me wrapped around her little finger and I should take all her toys out of her room and put a gate on her door so she knows I will leave her to go to sleep alone.

tegan · 31/01/2006 07:03

Perhaps I did speak too soon.
She screamed for an hour but then settled at 8pm, woke at 6am but only stirred once for her dumy at around 11pm, so all inall a good night and with no meds.

How is Jess doing?

devilJARM · 31/01/2006 07:34

hi mate, went down at about 7.30 and was up about 10 mins ago.... woke at 6.30 for juice. Not too bad. Really hope something works for you soon xxx
