After three attempts to leave a message on this thread I have to start again.

Codswallop - you still have the hacking bronchial cough to come and total loss of interest in food to come. I'm sure it won't be long before DS2 catches another cold.

We were going to sleep in the lounge last night, got the inflatable bed out ready and then discovered the pump wasn't charged and which point we threw our hands in the air and went back to bed. He woke at 4am, bfight eyed and bushy tailed.

I thought that, but his room felt pretty comfortable when I went in.
Sound like Grobags are really popular, where can you get them from? (Bearing in mind dh refuses to buy anything over the net, doesn't trust 'secure' sites!)

lubu · 27/10/2003 13:28

Have typed this post once and then deleted it by mistake - so here goes.

Hi Elena. Grobag can be phoned on 0870 6060276 or their website is here . There is a list of approved retailers somewhere on it.

DD woke once again last night, but straight back to sleep till 6.30am, so not too bad considering clocks. Leaving heating on is definately helping.

Are we all on our own again?

codswallop · 27/10/2003 13:29

john lewis have them

princesspeahead · 27/10/2003 13:30

mine back on track - down at 6pm, woke at 2 for a quick feed, slept until 7.15.
hurrah! 7 weeks today

codswallop · 27/10/2003 13:31

thats what ds1 and 2 were like,,,, ds3 not so compliant

lubu · 27/10/2003 13:33

I have just had this really scary thought that one day I am going to be all alone on this thread. DD will be starting school and I will just be posting to myself every morning about my non sleeping child

codswallop · 27/10/2003 13:34

No I will be there with Charlie

oliveoil · 27/10/2003 14:07

Dd woke up 4 times last night for no reason, I blame the clocks. Who do I claim for compensation? Government? Farmers? God?

There must be a claim somewhere

codswallop · 27/10/2003 14:08

scottish school childrena re always mentioned on the news -so they dont go to school int he dark!

oliveoil · 27/10/2003 14:14

Hmmmmmm, never mind scottish sprogs what about my eye bags??????

Have given up worrying about dd sleeping, she starts sleeping through and then gets another tooth - got 3 coming at once at the mo - or she gets a cold or bug or whatever.

Find it easier not to set myself goals and just expect a broken night sleep

motherinferior · 27/10/2003 14:31

I have just got dd2 a new grobag from JL's (through babyclothes, confusingly) in the hope she does not need to be put back on sale.

She might be hungry, I suppose. Grrrr.

codswallop · 27/10/2003 14:32

OO I am the same - resigned to it

oliveoil · 27/10/2003 14:38

My friends say that babies sleeping through don't exist so I'm sticking with that 'fact' to make me feel better.

codswallop · 28/10/2003 06:57

OH MY god!

He slept through!!!

For 12 hours

at 7 months and 2 weeks

at last

lubu · 28/10/2003 07:27

Soooo - what was the trick, was it the heating, the bionic baby juice, or something else??

codswallop · 28/10/2003 07:39

I dunno - sure he willl never do it again.

he shoude have doneit months ago.

heating was on 16 he has his sleeping bag onat about 9 pm and thats it.

Hughsie · 28/10/2003 08:11

Congrats coddy!!!

Dont think that - my ds2 was like that and then from about 5 mths - got it sorted and now does 11/12 hours - so hopefully your little one has read the script now too!

lubu · 28/10/2003 08:18

Have shown dd the last few posts and explained what is required, so maybe tonight she will comply. Going to Bullring shopping today, so maybe all the stimulation will wear her out

Mind you, I said that yesterday when I took her swimming!

oliveoil · 28/10/2003 08:58

Liar

princesspeahead · 28/10/2003 09:18

hurrah! well done. mine woke twice at 11 and 4, so that is a bummer. I think hes having a growth spurt, drinking masses too.

ninja · 28/10/2003 09:28

motherinferior · 28/10/2003 11:24

Terrible couple of nights with DS2 hacking cough, streaming nose - his day started at 5am so no idea what is going to happen tonight. ~Expecting another awful night.
