13 weeks. but got a chest infection at 6 months and never been quite as good since. now sleeps through 5 out of 7 nights.

weesaidie · 21/09/2005 21:15

to get to 11 hours - about 9 months when I decided to do cc... took one night! But now she wakes up earlier!

muminlondon · 21/09/2005 21:49

dd - by about 3 months was sleeping 7-10pm and 11pm to 6am with just a late evening feed. And 7.30pm-6.30 pm at 6 months. Then she went through funny phases at about a year and again at 16 months waking 3 times a night (had to let her cry a bit and it passed within a few weeks).

Now at 2.6 she sleeps 9pm-7am with an exhaustingly long bedtime routine (excruciating amount of dawdling over the bath and her teeth) starting at 7pm. zzzzzzzz

crazydazy · 21/09/2005 21:58

My DS is 3.4 and has only just started sleeping through!!!

DD has been sleeping through since 2 but she just takes a long time to drop off whereas DS drops off 5 mins after he's in bed and always wants to go to bed whereas DD never does!!!

And DS always wakes up at the stroke of 7.00 every single morning. You can take him to bed at 7.00, 7.30 or 8.00 and he always wakes at 7.00 its very strange....maybe its because it gets light at that time.....he always comes into our room when its light!!!!

lilsmum · 21/09/2005 22:03

dd slept through from 6 weeks (has done since unless ill she is almost 20mth)...very glad as i have always NEEDED my sleep lol

lalaa · 21/09/2005 22:04

my dd is 34 months and still gets up every third or fourth night. We go through phases when it's less often, but we had about two months in the summer when it was every night.
Permanently knackered!

I thought I had a good baby because she slept through initially when she was 8 weeks old, and I didn't have any more problems until she was 10 months or so. So if you've got a little one who's an angel, don't be surprised if it doesn't last!

crazydazy · 21/09/2005 22:08

Yes if my DS gets ill or something then he slips back into the routine of waking up every night, he doesn't wake up and cry he just shouts me and so I have to trudge in and give him a cuddle but sometimes he insists on me getting in bed with him!!! Very annoying!!!

lucykate · 21/09/2005 22:09

dd - not until 2, but she is now having problems settling since ds arrived, thinks she's missing out on things.

ds - is 16wks, goes down at 7.30, having a feed at 10.30pm, sleeps til about 3-4ish, then is a bit unsettled but will drop off again with a dummy/cuddle until about 6.30-7 ish. not really sleeping through but really good compared to what dd was like!.

Melly · 21/09/2005 22:53

DD - 7 pm - 7 am at 13 weeks
DS 7 pm - 7 am at 13 weeks

Don't be jealous anyone - I would lie in bed and worry if they would do it again tomorrow night - I was just a particularly anal mummy who stuck like glue to GF routines which I think resulted in happy contented babies but I felt like crap as Fern Britton once said "children are bathed, fed and in bed, I'll just pop outside and slit my wrists" Happy to say feeling much better now

Blossomhill · 21/09/2005 22:57

ds - 18 months - 2 yrs

dd - 2 yrs

dramaqueen72 · 21/09/2005 23:00

ds - 9-12mths
dd1 -ugh, about 18mths to go to bed at all, and then was about 2+ before she stopped getting up at bloody 5am.
dd2, -the worst -so far- NEVER slept, never, never.
was 22mths easily before she even slept more than three hours in a row, now 2.4 or thereabouts and sleeping right thro, no problem.thank god.

amyxxx · 21/09/2005 23:43

It's rare if ds goes through the night - he is 2.5. He has always been a pretty bad sleeper, hoping No. 2 will be better. He first went
'through' (9pm to 5am) at 6 weeks. No idea what wakes him up now, dh can settle him in a matter of seconds, so its not really a dicipline thing...

polly28 · 22/09/2005 00:15
