Because I bet they've just left BigTech in charge. Or he/she'll be checking in every once in a while, a bit pished and lairy.

So we can DO. WHAT. WE. LIKE. while the Leaders party.

I'm genuinely interested in why you think it's not good for us, oblomov.

In reality nothing has changed for us here. You can still spout the same old nonsense if you want to.

The only difference is that more people are paying attention to the issues that we deem to be important. And surely that's a good thing?

ClaireDeLoon · 04/03/2010 22:54

well said animula

morningpaper · 04/03/2010 22:55

It WAS sweet

I was surprised at how genuinely relaxed and warm he seemed to be

Can I state, for the record, that he did NOT throw any chairs or chuck cake around the room in a violent rage? (Although had he done so to the plastic-coned sushi I would not have blamed him)

No I don't believe that SB really lurks either. a) I'm sure she doesn't have the time, and b) she would have said something about red rugs or nice ham and made us go all hysterical.

onebatmother · 04/03/2010 22:59

Yeah absolutely what Animula said. Absobleedinglutely. Find that quite moving.

Spoof · 04/03/2010 23:00

oh i agree onebat (with your first paragraph - I wasnt there so don't know about the second and third paras. Although I think we should have a sweepstake on who SB is on here - she's GOT to be a regular. My money is on Daftpunk)

onebatmother · 04/03/2010 23:00

Noooow. you misunderstand me PW. I think she PARTICIPATES (or did)

onebatmother · 04/03/2010 23:01

BecauseImWorthIt · 04/03/2010 23:01

ZephirineDrouhin · 04/03/2010 23:03

I am desperate to know what cod was saying to Gordon Brown. She was talking to him for the longest time and he seemed to be listening very intently. Am imagining she has given him some kind of magic policy which is going to completely turn the election around. Is it true, cod?

morningpaper · 04/03/2010 23:03

The initials are the same: Sarah Brown is Solid (Gold for Gordon) Brass

Spoof · 04/03/2010 23:03

ROFL BIWI
Okay you have dittany, I'll therefore put my money on ...........annabonsoir.

morningpaper · 04/03/2010 23:04

ZephirineDrouhin you terrify me

you are so SWISHY and TALL

I feel like I am scurrying when I'm around you

BecauseImWorthIt · 04/03/2010 23:04

I think she was advising him re his make up and where to buy his clothes.

onebatmother · 04/03/2010 23:05

Also have just realized that I appeared to have dissed Dittany there and would not wish to have done that.

Oblomov · 04/03/2010 23:05

do you think they will take notice spoof. i don't think they will. and do you think mn is representative? i think not. i think we are here becuase we are very into chilcare issues, but i don't think its representative of most mums, no.
and if we were powerful, there could be political aspects to mn, people who worked hard on a particular area, petitions, meetings with ministers to try and get things changed.
but having our threads quoted in the papers etc, how is that doing us any good. how is that going to make the pm change policy ?

onebatmother · 04/03/2010 23:05

Cod was talking Actual Policy.

I know.

Isn't SGB the one that knows all about bumsex and other such deviances.....?

policywonk · 04/03/2010 23:07

It was definitely a policy. She's been trailing it around the webchat threads for ages but won't tell anyone what it is Possibly some elaboration on '60 pounds 3 points'?
