So, MNHQ, bedecked in LKBennett (and Boden for the plebs) are all out stuffing pizza and Bolly, half of the posters and hangers-on are there too: what mischief shall we get up to while they're away?

Because I bet they've just left BigTech in charge. Or he/she'll be checking in every once in a while, a bit pished and lairy.

So we can DO. WHAT. WE. LIKE. while the Leaders party.

DISinviting someone from a party?

Wouldn't it have been better to just suck it up and add one on, looked like there was plenty of room, or is she prone to streaking at large gatherings?

Jaysus must have taken some balls to send that email. Imagine doing that to a kid invited to a party.

Have you done something really baaaaaaaaaaaaad?

cocolepew · 04/03/2010 16:59

I don't know who Tim Dowling is and I don't want to Google because I'll type in blue waffle instead [sits on hands]

CountessDracula · 04/03/2010 17:00

"or was it more like 'oh fuck, not her, she'll just elbow her way to the front of the bar queue and shout at GB about iraq' "

[snurk]

you SO would

onebatmother · 04/03/2010 17:01

Yes Dowling is a verb coco. I'd steer well clear.

CountessDracula · 04/03/2010 17:01

I was curious about whether Sam'n'Dave were NFI I must say

eitbomh · 04/03/2010 17:02

To dowl (vb): To seduce by means of engaging inanity.

E.g. "I was well dowled by what he wrote about sitting in an office with a dog watching you."

Shiitake · 04/03/2010 17:09

Personally I'd have liked to ask GB to stop sucking his feckin' lip

Pofacedagain · 04/03/2010 17:12

I was disappointed that I didn't get frisked {except my morningpaper]

Pofacedagain · 04/03/2010 17:13

except by morningpaper. My morningpaper.

Anguis · 04/03/2010 17:13

I was surprised too that there was no frisking, given that gb was there

I am finally back home, after a mammoth 21 hour journey, during which the bus driver conned us all that he had left a passenger behind in Brussels (the guy was in the bus loo when it pulled out of the station). He kept shouting "I told you, KEINE PAUSE! You take taxi if you want a cigarette next time!"

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the prize, MNHQ - I had a great time, and loved every minute, and hauled around 40kg of books and choccies/english cakes home to my children, who screamed and fell on the suitcases.
Was fantastic meeting so many lovely people in the flesh.

(Also I must say, that I am now a Boden convert, as the top that I chose is beautiful, and far easier to wear than it looks in the catalogue.)

Anguis · 04/03/2010 17:17

It was lovely to meet you nightbynight.

nighbynight · 04/03/2010 17:27

Likewise, Anguis. I may summon up the courage to post on the wanker threads now that I have met so many of you....
