So, MNHQ, bedecked in LKBennett (and Boden for the plebs) are all out stuffing pizza and Bolly, half of the posters and hangers-on are there too: what mischief shall we get up to while they're away?

Because I bet they've just left BigTech in charge. Or he/she'll be checking in every once in a while, a bit pished and lairy.

So we can DO. WHAT. WE. LIKE. while the Leaders party.

DH liked the snapper woman and her camera, he said he'd just recently book marked her website.

God, I can't remember who anyone was, RL names or posting names, I wish I'd taken notes!

Who was the gorgeous tall woman in the grey skirt, black long sleeved polo neck who looked a little bit like Claudia Winkleman? She was so effortlessly glam looking.

eitbomh · 03/03/2010 20:30

Harriet Harman was pissed off that she didn't win the haiku competition

Who is that is the geometric wrap dress in Helen's picture? She looks v glam (and possibly pregnant or is that just the angle and now I need to namechange again)

BecauseImWorthIt · 03/03/2010 20:32

Well, that's my media career over before it even started.

And I'm not even in any of the photos!

I was there, honestly.

HelenMumsnet · 03/03/2010 20:36

That's JessicaMumsnet, eitbomh - she is indeed a glamourpuss of efforlessly glam proportions.

BIWI - we have pics of you - oh yes we do!

(whispering) and is she pregnant, Helen?

blouseenthusiast · 03/03/2010 20:42

If couldn't face the cones, there was a lot of fruit hanging around near the smoothie machine (bit late for thsi tip). Loved the baskets of sanitary priducts in google loos

HelenMumsnet · 03/03/2010 20:42

She is a sylph - v bad camera angle...

MmeLindt · 03/03/2010 20:43

DH made me take a screenshot of SB answering my tweet.

He may even come to understand, perhaps even like MN.

eitbomh · 03/03/2010 20:52

Lovely interview onebatmother! You sound so poised and thoughtful.

Are there more pictures, only I want to go to bed see them

GeraldineMumsnet · 03/03/2010 20:58

Link to C4 News stuff on web.

LG&T, I forgive you

cyb · 03/03/2010 21:01

I've just read an article about MN where Justine is described as a 'tippy toppy Bodenfrau' with 'coltish legs'

I say!

HelenMumsnet · 03/03/2010 21:03

Yes, there are more pics, MP, but not all ready yet.

Will be grand unveiling tomorrow-ish, I think...

bibbitybobbityhat · 03/03/2010 21:05

I find this to be an odd thread.

All the party invitees running around excitedly flapping and loving each other.

One v disgruntled non-invitee .

A handful of lurkers/stragglers and hangers on (like me) showing an interest.

Some moldies.

And moldies in disguise.

Yet, on the whole, the party seems to have passed the rest of Mumsnet by. Is there another thread going on somewhere?

Pofacedagain · 03/03/2010 21:06

No. am disappointed in the lack of gossip tbh.

CaptainNancy · 03/03/2010 21:12

I kept expecting cod to dish out S&B bon mots...

"Oh dear CN, you're not wearing Vitalumiere are you?" "And those tights with that dress?"

Len- you made me laugh out loud with the balsawood thing! The canapes were a little intimidating, weren't they?

animula · 03/03/2010 21:13

[animula pops out from behind the hostas]

I'm lurking - and enjoying it. I think I'm slowly building up a picture of the night.

Haven't posted because had nothing v. big to ask after the comment earlier as to whether everyone was as tall as they seemed. Answer seemed to be that they were.

The pix are so great, though. I thought they reminded me a little bit of a school disco. And then I realised it was because there were so many women there (ex-girl's school, here).

and then I thought - "How cool is that!"

SpringHeeledJack · 03/03/2010 21:14

Bibbity I didn't turn a hair till I saw Hullygully's name, then my jaw positively hit the keyboard

EggyAllenPoe · 03/03/2010 21:15

two disgruntled non-invitees bibbety bobetty

surely someone got drunk and tried to snog Ed miliband? (although, his mouth is kind of off-centre. it would be easy to miss)

LadyBlaBlah · 03/03/2010 21:16

bibbity - I was gonna post along those lines but you beat me to it.

Its getting really strange and perhaps even smug on here

SoupDragon · 03/03/2010 21:17

Go somewhere else then
