So, MNHQ, bedecked in LKBennett (and Boden for the plebs) are all out stuffing pizza and Bolly, half of the posters and hangers-on are there too: what mischief shall we get up to while they're away?

Because I bet they've just left BigTech in charge. Or he/she'll be checking in every once in a while, a bit pished and lairy.

So we can DO. WHAT. WE. LIKE. while the Leaders party.

NeedsWillWhenBarrattBuilds · 03/03/2010 19:15

There were several Moldies there last night.

Spoof · 03/03/2010 19:16

How do you know, needswill?

morningpaper · 03/03/2010 19:16

I mainly stood by Original Tech who was saying things like "oooh look there's

Pofacedagain · 03/03/2010 19:16

You forgot to talk to ME too policy. I had to hang off Zeph's arm all night whilst she became increasingly more embarrassed.

Applesinmypocket has a very lovely daughter.

SoupDragon · 03/03/2010 19:17

What an interesting first post lonatix

policywonk · 03/03/2010 19:18

Sorry Po

I quite liderally did not move from the spot all night. I stood in one place and spoke to whoever was in front of me. It is my usual technique at parties and it has made me what I am today. Friendless.

NeedsWillWhenBarrattBuilds · 03/03/2010 19:19

Ok several is an exaggeration, but there was more than one.

And do you know what the world didn't stop turning on it axis and Johnny B didn't turn into a cross dresser.

Room for all.

MamaGisNFI · 03/03/2010 19:20

rofl at policy

laweaselmys · 03/03/2010 19:20

Thanks for coming back with gossip! I always reckon half the point of mumsnet is to live vicariously through others with amenable babysitters.

NFI · 03/03/2010 19:20

(policywonk, that Churchill quote made me snort coffee down my nose, thank you for the caffeine nasal wash )

NFI · 03/03/2010 19:21

Oh I bet Johnny B tries on his own wares at home. I bet he quite likes a sassy skirt and a leopardprint kitten heel on the sly

Pofacedagain · 03/03/2010 19:22

Arf. Zeph did make a quick escape at the end along with Anguis. But I went back and got them and bored them rigid chatted to them at pizza express.

Spoof · 03/03/2010 19:22

Isn't coffee used to wash out a certain other orifice? Have you got it arse about face, NFI?

ahundredtimes · 03/03/2010 19:22

lol at made me what I am today

More news MP, did any MNers talk to anyone who wasn't an MNer? Was there proper flow at this party - other than PW who we now know is a Fixed Point.

policywonk · 03/03/2010 19:23

Mama and NFI. (It's from Alastair Campbell's book - apparently Blair related the story to Helmut Kohl when they were in a urinal together at some NATO conference.)

NFI · 03/03/2010 19:27

spoof!

Typical MN, always comes back to bumsex in the end...

policywonk · 03/03/2010 19:27

OBM moved around and spoke and all that stuff. She's more talented than I am.

MmeLindt · 03/03/2010 19:28

Ok, it is a lovely thread. It is, almost fluffy in fact. All the compliments flying back and forth.

Apart from MamaG's uncontrollable envy. But then, you can't have everything.

Spoof · 03/03/2010 19:33

I was talking colonic irrigation

I can't believe ANYONE finds that pleasureable

SpawnChorus · 03/03/2010 19:33

Oh are you boco? I've been a bit sporadic , but I will henceforth search for you name and stalk you and guffaw at your posts.

noddyholder · 03/03/2010 19:34

It didn't say all white people are lazy It gave unemployed locals in areas where there is quite a large immigrant workforce the opportunity to do these unskilled jobs and experience the hours and effort required to earn a wage rather than claim benefits. It was a shocker and no mistake.A lot of them couldn't be arsed but the worst thing was the attitude like they were too good for it and the complete inability to put themselves out of their routine and work!Agree re circular argument though I am leaving it too as we have almost got to the bit where DP cries before she gets her venom up again to attack someone else.

policywonk · 03/03/2010 19:34

Argh shit we should be watching C4 News
