Hidden space - a hole in the MN time/space continuum?

I have noticed that in long
posts, suddenly there appears a rogue space.

Is this a secret door into the wonderful world of MNHQ, or something more mundane to do with the arcane world of coding?

And there are spaces in each word.

It's getting worse. It's unravelling I tell you!

Right here goes. In the first pattern (guyfaulkes) the space moved one across each time
The second one (guyfaulkes) it was 4 characters space 4x 2 characters, then 4x3 etc and the next time (hulla) it was 8 space 8x2 space then 8 x3 repeated.

Why is the biscuit orange, just as a matter of interest? I just cannot envisage eating an orange biscuit with a cherry on. But anyhow, I do love it and am desperate for an opportunity for meaningful usage. Must do less work for more MNing oppos.

question how is it every ninth line when hulla and faulkes showed up as every line when i looked at the posts.

Patterns are cyclical too so it is:

etc

where n is the number of spaces in.

I think Tech has so much work to do already that he's going to hunt down whoever started this thread and kill them break their computer!

I still think it's every 100 characters (poss 99) - if you c & p into word & view the non-printing characters you can see that BIWI didn't press enter at the end of her lines - so it was automatically wrapped, which I assume occurs after 100 characters. If the space also ocurs after 100 characters, you won't see it. Guyfawkes has an enter character at the end of each line. I'm going cross-eyed trying to count, but I think she has about 95 or 96, ie 4 less than the number needed to wrap, so the gap moves 4 spaces over each time.

In the preview pane I don't get mystery spaces unless I type hard returns. When I use hard returns the mystery space appears every ninety-something characters after each hard return -- typically 95 but sometimes 94 or 92.
