Whenever I see stuff about the Mumsnet Founders, Justine and Carrie (as per the feature about the Red Award today...) I always think 'What happened to Rachel?' so I thought I'd ask.....

I'm sure when MN was set up there were three 'founders' weren't there?

So what happened? Do tell....

Rachel is still very much here. In fact, she was in MN Towers today gossiping with the rest of us working on very important, high-level stuff.

Mmmmmm Rather a quick retort for my liking

I'm picturing a "Home Alone" scene with the rest of MNHQ moving a cardboard cutout of Rachel in front of the window to make it look as though she's still there.

It's just that she used to be on all the photos.... and well.... now she's sort of disappeared....

Oi geezers Rachel is definitely still around - she's our reviews editor in fact, but not and never a founder - she joined about a year and a half in when Carrie was on maternity leave and has been locked in ever since...

It was really fun actually - a big fat girly love-in with scones and jam.

Jo Wiley and Jools Oliver all chic in towering heels. Me and Caz teetering in our flats. Lovely Sarah Brown with her stunning eyes and sagely gravitas. My mum getting all over excited at being in the same room as people from the the Telly.
